Great product, completely fuel proof once cured. To be very clear this product is very thin, just a tad thicker than dish soap. So prepare surfaces accordingly and be ready for drips. Great sealant and does cure to be soft and fairly flexible. I had cleared out a through hole a bit oversize when replacing the fuel line for a leaf blower. added some of this and was able to seal right up. If there is any gap, you want to block with something until it cures, washer, cardboard, clay, etc. Anything to stop it from flowing away from where you want it to be. I 3d printed something for my needs, but that is a bit overboard for normal use If using it on a gasket, would hold and seal well without issues, will not be thick enough to flow anywhere. Tacky enough to hold item in place while horizontal. If vertical would need to be clamped.

Lucky i tossed this MotoSeal tube into my toolbox before heading to the trailhead. I bought it for my old Subaru because the valve cover has been sweating oil for months. Used it in the parking lot after a hike when I spotted a fresh drip on the skid plate. Cleaned the edge, ran a thin bead, then let it tack up while we ate snacks. It skins over fast and doesn’t string all over the place, which made me reallly glad I had it. Drove home an hour with no new spots on the pavement. Smell is strong but fades quick. For quick driveway or trailhead fixes on gaskets and small leaks, this stuff works well.

The only stuff I trust for sealing the two halves of my small 2 stroke motor. Everything else I've used leaks almost instantly.

Gasket maker does what it's supposed to do, just don't get it on your fingers. I couldn't get it off with anything. It took two days to wear off but that's okay!

Finally using the fuel resistant Petmatex and I'm a fan and a believer now as to its performance when applied properly ...

Used for the timing cover on a 2003 Frontier. The lower bolt at the water pump to block interface is very thin so I used this because it seems to be the right stuff. I also thickened the sealing area with JB weld to have more surface to seal.

This stuff is great very good for engine cases base gaskets head, gaskets good quality RT

Got it to seal off some places and like that it is fuel resistant. Good to have on hand.

Over the years I have tried many brands, this isnt cheap but the best by far.
