Moen DN8324BN Retreat Collection 24-Inch Bathroom Single Towel Bar, Brushed Nickel

These bathroom accessories look very nice and are solidly built. The problem is with the anchors provided by Moen. They seem good, but they don't hold, and getting them out leaves a hole too big for the threaded anchors. Not exactly pleased to have to move the item and then patch drywall and paint. This has happened with three of the four Moen Retreat accessories we have installed. We won't use their anchors on the fifth.

This piece went well with our newly remodeled bathroom. I love how it looks in there.

Nice product but mine had a few smudges in the metal. Didn't want to return so just kept it as they weren't that obvious. Mounting super easy. Looks Nice. Rod could stand to be a little bit thicker in diameter and rattles a little when you put taowel on it. I like it though. It's a nice product especially for the price. Bushed nickel finish is spot on. Mounting is very solid.

Bathrooms in my home came with only one towel bar and so I got these exact same ones for two of my bathrooms. The left one in the picture is what I installed myself. Since I had to align it well with my existing towel bar, it took some time to get right markings.

******IMPORTANT******* Please read. Just bought two of these and I was having the same trouble as other customers as I was looking for a solution to a common problem- they seem wobble or come off the wall as you tighten the set screw during initial instillation. After an hour of tinkering with them I have found two solutions to the problem.1. if you havent installed the wall brackets to the wall yet, tighten the set screw while the wall bracket is inside the towel arm bracket- this will allow the set screw to bore a groove into the wall bracket and prevent it from coming during initial instillation.2. If you are like me and you already have the brackets attached to the wall- you do not want to remove the screws from the wall anchors because this leads to weakened drywall ( if using white screw anchor type) or lose the ones provided into the wall. Make sure the towel bracket is tight against the wall and push is hard as you can on the towel arm bracket and tighten set screw slowly- the set screw should go through and bore a hole through the edge of the wall bracket. If it still is pulling off, go to step one.Hope this helps!! Good luck.

Bath hardware can be so incredibly pricey for what you get. I was looking for a good price on brushed nickel finish and I had a few specific features that I wanted most and this set delivered. this also provided a nice functional design with some round and angular features that work well together.This half circle design on the hand towel holder is nice because the towel can be folded in half and hung on the bar without it bunching up. it also stands out enough from the wall for the towel to hand freely.The tp holder with the lift up feature makes this much nicer to use over the the single sided design that can deliver too much paper when trying to tear it off. This design makes it just as easy to replace tp roll as on the single side design with added benefit of it not falling of the holder.The easy to use template made installation easier and accurate, eliminating the need to redrill a hole that is just slightly off.

I recently installed the 24" double Moen towel bar after my shower remodel. Loved the double but it stuck out a little too far from the wall for where it was mounted. Ordered the single Moen and it is just as nice as the double, and fits better in the current location. My only issue was that the mount holes were not the same for the bracket. I hoped that since they were both Moen 24" that the bracket holes would be the same. No luck, but I still love the towel bar.

Good quality. Used to replace very old towel bars in a master ensuite. Love the style and finish.
