Black finish scratched before the plastic came off. Brass color is a deep gold. You will need your own ground screw and make sure you pick up a round mounting bracket so you can center it in the room. . It is a single straight piece and can only mount into the canopy one way. Assembling it was okay, but there were no instructions so I had to guess which screws were supposed to go where and all of them are visible from the outside of the frame. The screws are visible so you may want to touch them up with a little black paint. . If you overtighten the screws, you can strip the holes but if you don't tighten them enough the perpendicular pieces rotate. It is not heavy but there is no way to hang it while you wire it, so I had to ask for help to hold it up while I connected the wires. Looks okay from afar but if you're going to look at it up close you may want to touch up any scratches with black paint . It did light right up which surprised me a little because you can see the wires running right through the path of the screws as you are putting it together. I'm certain this is why some people out it together and some of the bulbs didn't work. Use extra caution when putting those screws in so you don't sever those wires. Wait a couple of days and let the fixture stretch the wires a bit and tweak the level. I did have some interaction with customer service and they asked me for feedback on improvements and they offered some concessions for my less than optimal experience. Because of that I added two stars to my review. I like a company that is willing to accept feedback and back up their products. For the price the fixture is cool looking and it works.

Absolutely LOVE this light fixture, and the quality for the price is superb. It doesn’t look cheap, and is comparable to the light fixtures found in lamp/light stores.Much better than anything I’ve seen at the home improvement stores over the past 3 years.Whenever I shop on amazon, the first thing I look at are the photos from people who have purchased the items, so I tried to add a photo of the fixture, but it looks like Amazon has removed that option from the app when reviewing the product.

The light fixture looks great. I am very happy with it. The instructions are not good...you have to figure some of it out on your own. I also cut the hanging wires so I could mount this closer to the ceiling. I would definitely recommend this light fixture to anyone.

I really love this light fixture. It was a great price and really love the look of it. The installation instructions are terrible and required extra time to decipher the correct steps. Once figured out it was easy to install. The fixture is like a work of art and I used the warm LED Edison bulbs that enhanced the look.

The chandelier looks amazing but it definitely was hard to install. After cutting it to make it flush mount it was hard to connect the wires (there is a white and black wire in each set of cords).

I love that this is very impactful light fixture with being lightweight so I didn’t have to reenforce the base for this. I used 7” tall Edison bulbs to fill the space on it. Pretty easy to install. Highly recommend.

The frames are supposed to attach (top & bottom) but the outside frames are too big so we ended up only attaching the top part. The gold lightbulb bases are slightly different colors but not too noticeable. The result is fine and it looks beautiful...especially for the price. Can't beat the price.

The tolerances linking the cross bars were off on one side. Really had to squeeze them in which caused the paint to scratch badly and it shows since it is eye level. Will have to figure a way to touch it up
