The battery that came with my wireless tv speaker has some type of padding on it and the compartment will not close. Is it removable? I had to tape it

Please up load a photo. I don't think any padding should be removed. What specifically do you mean by padding? Is it a new purchase? The battery in our lasted a long time but it expanded when it got older, then we used tape to keep it in. I ordered a new one that fit right in.

Why would my battery swell up?

If you use AC adapter to power the speaker, please remember to take off the battery from speaker to protect battery. Please contact our support team or send Amazon message to us. We would like to send you a replacement.

Unit "beeps" after about every minute or so. It is charged. Could this possibly need new battery? Only 5 months old.

The beep sound seems to be a low battery indication, how about the LED indicator? In addition, did you try to directly connect the speaker to the power supply to charge?

When will this be in stock? My 95 year old mother in law loves this speaker, it works great, the battery just went out. I can't find a source anywhere

If the unit will no longer charge you can purchase a new battery. They sell the batteries on Amazon.

***Update. The old battery has swelled up to the point that the back wouldn't stay on the speaker, we had wedged a piece of paper in it to hold it in place. When that no longer worked I did a review and started searching for a different brand battery. The company saw the review and reminded me that the battery was still under warranty and stated they had upgraded the old battery to prevent that from happening again. A new battery was sent right away. Could not be happier with this battery or the speaker or their customer service!Old review:This is the second replacement battery that I've purchased and it swells up after a few months of use.

Had second battery for about six weeks quit charging trying to get somebody to return me a new one it was past my window to send it back right after that it quit working not happy right now….not happy with sound box an battery no answer from no one

Buy the 3 yr. warranty!!!

This is my 3rd battery for my Simolio unit that i bought 3yrs ago. Original battery lasted about 3yrs. Made a mistake when I bought new battery because I failed to purchase the warranty plan and this battery lasted only 49 days so could not be returned! When i purchased this battery, i also bought a 3yr protection plan. I will now get cost of battery refunded when i return defected battery.
