I prefer this type of reusable baking mat where they are already outlined. I’ve been using these sheets for quite some time and have had no problems. I noticed in the reviews that some people commented about their macarons not coming off the mats, and I immediately knew from their pictures that it was not the mats. Their shell batter was not mixed adequately, causing the shells to stick to the mats. So, when you read the reviews, remember that many of the issues are because macaroons are not easy to make. These Reusable Macaron Cookie Sheets are exactly as advertised, well-made, and work well. The PRICE is in the usual range.

We've always been a bit of a "foodie" family. That has only increased during this pandemic. We have also always been interested in new recipes, and cooking shows. We saw that "Silpat" baking mats were becoming ubiquitous in a lot of cooking shows... and the more we investigated, the more we were interested. These mats are MUCH lower price (than Silpats and the like). AND you also get two smaller mats (quarter pan) in addition to the two full size mats (half pan). These mats are great for nearly all baking uses, not just macaroons. They prevent bottom of your food burning on the tray. They are EXTREMELY easy to clean up, no matter how messy the food/s you are baking on them. I LOVE how perfect my muffins bake up when I use these. They're great when we roast veggies on them (with balsamic vinegar/oil/salt/pepper). We've used them for a number of months now. We tend to cook at home, even when not in a pandemic. I can now safely say these are good quality mats. I HIGHLY recommend these mats. I cannot imagine the Silpat mats are so much better that they'd be worth the price upgrade. Maybe for a pro chef. We're not pro chefs. These mats are really, REALLY good. Get some.

Pros: 1. These mats really make it much easier to make perfect-shaped macarons. I don't have a problem with finding similar sized macaron shells to pair up anymore. 2. They are also NON-STICK! Once the macaron shells cool down, the macarons can be removed from the mats pretty easily - just bend lift and bend the mat slightly and the shells would come off pretty cleanly (see the photo). I have tried making both French and Italian macarons and none of them sticks. (But if you remove the shells before they cool down to the room temp, then the shells would stick to the mat.) 3. They can be cleaned easily. (They are probably NOT dish-washer safe.) Since my macarons come off pretty cleanly, I find that wiping the mats with vinegar before use to remove crumbs and grease is sufficient (and easier than trying to wash them in the sink). Cons: 1. The bigger sheets don't fit my 11x17" baking tray because of the rims of the tray. So, I resort to using the bottom side of the tray instead and it works out just fine. NOTE: You might want to bake macarons for a slightly longer time when using these silicon mats compared to when using a parchment paper on a tray. (I add one more minute when using the silicon mats.)

I have now Used these a couple of times to make macarons and they have worked well. The template makes it easy to keep the macarons consistent in size, they bake evenly, and don’t stick. My only complaint would be that it’s difficult to find baking trays that the mats fit flatly into. I have 4 different baking sheets and the larger mats won’t fit nicely into any of them. I improvised and flipped the trays upside down and that worked fine.

I bought these for baking and for regularly roasting vegetables such as potatoes in the oven. They work great and are very easy to clean. They are easy to store as well. I've used them with the oven at 425 degrees feirenheight and they worked great, good heat resistance. For the amount of mats you get it is a great deal for the money. They are quite durable as well. I love that they have the circles for making macrons as well it'll make it easier to pipe them out. These had a slight smell to them but after washing them the smell went away.

My sheets came in perfect condition. No pattern transfers or bends or fiberglass sticking out. There was a chemical smell that disappeared after washing with Dawn and a basic sponge. I made choux cream puffs for my first time, using these silicone mats, and the biggest fear of sticking was immediately gone. They lifted right off! I even had to scrape off every other piped circle, which left some baked residue. That crust just flaked away, even after 4 batches. All this at 425F on old aluminum pans. I'm seriously impressed. Will definitely be buying another set. And more as gifts.

I left reviewing these until I'd really put them to the test. I've used them for macarons, caramel, chocolate and in the photos it's caramelized nuts. I've also used it when I have been coating meat in sticky glazes and so on. Basically nothing sticks. It either comes straight off, as in whatever you've baked or it takes a gentle wash to get rid of the debris. I'm genuinely impressed. The important part! It gives a nice even bake on cookies, macarons etc. I've had no disappointments. The usable space for macarons using the guide rings is larger than most because the border isn't as wide. The photos: The mess is pretty much a mix of almost burnt sugar and macadamia nuts. In the second photo I have just run warm water and a light touch and it's pretty much clean. I do use dish soap for hygiene but it's not needed to remove gunk. It's a good idea to lift the mat to the light so you can see any bits the "magic" coating hides but that would be the same whether you bought the most expensive brand or this one. The final photo is it all ready to go to handle my next mess.

Bad mat!!!! Macarons stick on mat, don't come off!!! I bake now macarons for 2 years. Wanted to add mats to b able to make more at once, turns out already the 3rd batch to throw out.

The silcone baking mats are great! I had to replace a set I had as over the years they do 'wear' out with the various ways I have used them. I do like the varying sizes as sometimes I will use these mats in a counter oven which is smaller. They are also useful when the grandkids are over and want to play with 'play-do' and pretend they are baking as well! They are easy to clean up and be ready for the next time I need them!
