The Great Ice Engine (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition) (Anna & Elsa)

My daughter (5 1/2) and I love the books in this series. What's especially great about this one is the detailed descriptions of both a catapult that Elsa built to help Anna clean up her room when they were children and of the great ice engine itself. That has inspired some (limited, because of my background, I'm afraid) discussions about physics in general and machines in particular. Because of this book, my daughter now has an interest in a K'Nex Education set for "simple machines". Thank you!!!!

My daughter is 5 and thus, she isn't entirely ready for a book with minimal pictures. However,she likes the idea of having anything frozen. I find the book perfect for the 5-8 yr crowd. Not much character development to have a grown-up like me thoroughly enjoy the book. However, the 5 stars rating is because my darling asks for it at night as one of the books we read to her before going to bed.

My 6 year old daughter loves these books! She blasted through them and was genuinely excited to read them. She is obsessed with Frozen, but I really like that these books tell different stories than the movie. There are a lot of Frozen books out there that just re-tell the same story shown in the movie, but these are completely different.

My daughter has really enjoyed reading about the adventures of Anna and Elsa beyond the movie. If your kids liked Frozen I believe they will really like these books. My daughter started these books in 2nd grade and is now headed in to 3rd and still enjoys them.

Delivered sooner then expected and made one birthday girl very happy. She finished the book in 2 days and she is usually a reluctant reader.

my 7 year old loves the stories. It brings the characters to life. We read a chapter a night before bed. Book is 10 chapters. The stories let you see a glimpse of life outside of Arendelle

My daughters 6 & 8 love the Anna and Elsa stories. They read them cover to cover in one sitting. Anything that draws them to reading from a brand I trust is a win in my book!
