Great for the money!
Not easy to put together and my boyfriend had to do it but it’s a great bench for the money!! Not super sturdy but will absolutely do for me and my clients. Very excited

Great deal for the price
This works great as a compact option for both abs and hyperextension. It's also easy to fold up and pack in the closet if that's your thing. I didn't feel like spending double the price on the next similar thing, so I went with this despite the reviews and while I understand them, any workout gear you buy on Amazon is going to require assembly. I thought this was pretty easy honestly. It does have the usual give/slight wobble of most at-home workout benches at this price point, but it seems sturdy to me, a 200 lb male. Just make sure you you TIGHTEN those bolts, and it's solid.

Great for at home workouts
Love this bench. My only complaint is that the only way to attach the top piece (with the pads) is by a pin and it is not the sturdiest. Aside from that, it does what I need it to and is perfect for at home workouts.

Cheap, lightweight, assembled easily, and compact, but...
Update: it’s just not working out. It’s such a pain in the butt to adjust this bench mid-workout that I find I’m changing my routine rather than the bench. I am disappointed in myself for choosing the cheap option instead of the best option, and I’ve already ordered a replacement with much better reviews.Live and learn.I got what I paid for. I'm 5'1 140lbs and, while it's fine for me, a larger or heavier person will probably not be stoked on this purchase. It's cheap, lightweight, assembled easily, and is compact, but...Here's what to look out for:1. it's pretty light-weight -- great for folding it up and storing it out of the way, but it will slide around a bit on the floor while you're using it. I don't notice the wobble *while I'm using it* but I do in the half-second right before.2. it assembled easily -- that said, it's comprised of parts that "basically" fit together, and are not a perfect fit which makes parts of it, like the back/ab extension part, wobbly.3. it's compact -- again, great if your plan is to store it out of the way when you're not using it, but the bench part is really short and even as a short woman, it is hard to get situated on it without parts of me hanging off.

Dangerously poor quality
Bought this because it was on the cheaper side and had the hyper extension feature. While unpacking it noticed a couple of terrible welds on the connection between the bench and support leg. It was already rusted. And the welds were only partially along the lengths of the plates. Why not weld the whole edge? Looked it over and there were numerous “partial” welds that look like they should have been all the way around. Got it put together and feels sketchy as hell. Tried the hyperextension and feels unstable and weak. Bench seems ok but will see. Would send it back but hardly worth the hassle. See how long till it breaks. Bought bench rack from another company to go with this bench and it is solid! Should have bought bench from them too. Expected better from CAP

Great Bench - Perfect For Me!
This is a great bench. Sturdy, easy to put together, and a nice product. The only potential downfall is that the bench is shorter than what I find in a gym. Not a huge deal for me as I am 5' 7", but it could be an issue for someone who is taller and wishes to lie down on the bench to work out. I can still lie down on it, but there is nothing extra beyond my head or my butt when I lie down to bench press, for example. Again, not a big deal for me...it's a great bench. It's perfect for me!

Light duty. Not the safest.
Very small to use as a standard bench, also lightly built. Anyone over 150lbs would not feel safe using. The decline is nice and has been solid so far but the single pin makes me uneasy every time.I would not use this to bench press. Spend more money on a better bench to save in the long run not buying two!

3.5 years later!
Over 3 years in a moist basement and no rust! It still functions as it should. No rips in the fabric or missing plastic pieces. I still love it like the first use. I added the tension band to diversify my work out.
