Spicer 10023539 Differential Cover (Ford 9.75), 1 Pack

Solid product. Like that there is two ports for checking level for lifted and stock trucks. Very solid and sturdy. Comes with new bolts that look good but you will need to use the three bolts with the studs for the wiring harness that runs over the differential. They are the same length so there's no issue there.

Great product. Very sturdy and looks great. Also has drain plug and multiple fill plugs. Made from cast iron so it is definitely heavier than stock cover.

I purchased this differential cover to replace the mag-hytec branded one (watch the Gale Banks video about why those covers arent the best!) while I was doing some diff maintenance anyways. This fits any F150 with a 9.75 rear end. Check your truck before you order this because while MOST trucks come with a 9.75 rear end, some come with regular 8.8s and some come with whats called "SUPER 8.8s" .As far as the quality of it? Its great. Its heavier duty than the stock one and makes fluid changes a breeze. The gasket it comes with is okay, but I ended up buying a lube locker brand gasket instead. I have heard of people having issues with the supplied bolts but I did not!Overall this is a nice bit of kit, adds a bit of pop to your trucks rear end and makes fluid changes super easy. Highly recommended you buy this in conjunction with your next fluid change.Oh and as I said this is the EXACT same cover as the Ford Performance branded one (M-4033-F975) just with different sticker on the cover. If you want to save 100 bucks get this one!

Nice quality part! Heavy cast.Some people complain about the supplied bolts and gasket.I used a thin coat of permatex ultra grey on both sides of the gasket installed cover with supplied bolts.I torqued down the cover at spec no issues with the bolts.Let everything sit for a hr and filled with 4 bags of Valvoline 75w140 synthetic.Drove 24 hrs later and no leaks.It’s nice looking and also nice to have the fill holes and drain plug o. Back of the cover.1 star down because the gasket isn’t the best qualityI’m also a mechanic with over 30 year experience.

Quality, Heavy Cover, Looks Good!! Adds a little to the factory's capacity.Go to Tractor Supply or Farm & Fleet, and buy Gold Galvanized Grade 8 bolts and Stainless washers.Use some thread locker and Torq to 32#sI used the LubLocker gasket with NO silicon and no leaks! <><

After searching Amazon and reading reviews I decided to order a Spacer rear differential cover for my F-150 3.5l. The attached photo has been taken 10 days later. So far, so good.I used a supplied gasket and bolts except three original bolts with a stud I used as well.There are three things that must be considered based on my experience.1. The capacity is up to 3.5 qts.2. A cover oil level opening is higher than the original one.3. Torque value is about 20 - 22 ft-lb.I used my digital torque wrench to do the job. Further turning a bolt did not lead to a higher torque value. This seems to be sufficient, just make sure that mating surfaces are clean. A scrapper worked good for me, and there was no need to use a metal brush.

I installed this on my 2017 Ford raptor as I was looking to upgrade from the stock differential cover which was a bit more of a tedious job. I had heard very good things about the Spicer differential cover so I decided to give it a whirl. Installation was a breeze, although I will highly suggest that you purchased the lube locker gasket because I simply do not trust what came With Spicer, nothing personal. Installation was a breeze as I stated previously, and it looks bad as good. I would highly recommend anyone looking to upgrade their differential cover to go with the Spicer as it is identical to the one offered by Ford but at about half the price .
