I went checking on some soft focus filter for my Nikon D40 and found this kit.. I thought why not give it a shot since the price is pretty reasonable.I had already tried all of them and they are made with superb quality.. definitely for pro's. I'm an intermediate photographer and I found these ones pretty convenient, fit perfect and the glass is great!I'm only 24 but I'm from the old team.. I had learnt to develop film and I was thaught that PHotography is "creating with light" so I hate these nowadays so -called "photographers" who just shoot 1,000 pics and then give them all to someone who would photoshop them... horribly ! I hate fake things.. I believe digital is great but you can't cheat if you wanna be called a real photographer you should help yourself with things like these.. the filters help you softening the blemishes and imperfections (soft focus), getting outstanding landscape pics (star filter) and improving light conditions (warming). All these played fair in the field, in the actual shoot, not after that.. so photos look great, and never fake.. I suggest these to anyone who enjoys creating, not just making up stuff on the computer..Great product! And a plus is, they come in this luxurious polyester case, the logo of polaroid on rubber :) (i'm a detail person) and you even have inside an extra pocket to put the uv one which would complete the basics in this kit.Go for them now!

I used these on a 50mm lens just to play around. For the price, they are a low risk proposition. If you are looking for world changing filters, then invest in higher cost glass. These lenses arrived on time, undamaged, and the build quality is on par with other filter I have used by other brands, and these included a functional carrying case. They fit nicely on the lens and operated as advertised. I think there are worse ways to spend the money like seeing an IMAX movie that ends up being terrible. I think these filters will be far more entertaining. If you are an entry level photographer these provide some good entry level options. One thing I wish they included was a ND or CPL filter, but if you want those there are other options available. I picked this for a change of pace and that is what they provided. As mentioned, the star filter was less than thrilling (I took some shots of my christmas lights) and in low light doesn't really give that "star" effect and can wash out the whole scene with streaks of light.

I have several high end filters but use these for times I am afraid of scratching up my more expensive brands. If you neverr used screw on filters which work the best try a set of these then decide for yourself if you like the star effect on chrome fenders and motorcycles, the warming effect on faces, and the especially the soft focus on faces that are not so young and perfect or on all new brides since they make small wrinkles disappear without ruining the overall focus. I have honestly not tried this set but used one years ago by polaroid and it was good for such a low price. Buy the better brands for great results!

I got this kit for $1.99+Free shipping, so extremly happy with it. It has nice pouch included, which can hold up to 8 filters if you put them tightly. Filters itself are of nice quality and deliver great looking images. However, I'm not that happy with 4 point star filter - the number of points is not just enough to give you a special FX effect. Currently it looks more like your camera has the apreture leaf problem, rather than special FX. I had a 32 point star filter from other manufacturer - it was giving out much nicer results.Anyways, I'm very happy with this purchase, and if I again encounter such a deal for this, I'd go for it - simply the pouch is worth of the price.

I was really surprised at how nice these little filters are for the price. They're really good. The star filter works great, allowing you to adjust the points to get the angle you like best while the warming filter enhances the photo. The first photo attached to this review was taken without the warming filter; the second with it. The filters don't reduce photo quality at all and considering the cost that's really amazing. The soft focus filter gives you a a neat soft effect that (in my case) is much different than the one built into the camera. These are great for people exploring filters or for others who need a good price fix. The carry case is nice too.

Filters are nicely built for the price. But the soft focus filter is way too soft, almost blurry soft. The other two filters are good. I am very used to the soft look of the Hasselblad Softar I, but this Polaroid diffusion filter is too strong. I use it on my Leica D-Lux7 (43mm), but it's too dreamy.

Despite all that can be done with digital editing I still believe in using filters. The goal I shoot for is to try and make the raw footage as close to what you want as possible. The warming filter is probably my favorite, making everything look a little better and it even fixes the greenish tint of florescent lighting. And the four point star filter is wonderful for night photography.

Good filters at a great price.

These are genuine Polaroid filters and therefore of the highest quality; they come in a handy pouch which has four sections, although this kit has three filters. I have bought a Polaroid polarising filter which I keep in the fourth section (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003USTMN0)

This 3 piece camera lens filter kit by Polaroid is made from quality glass, not the cheap plexiglass that other types of filters/manufacturers may use. The filters are of good quality and come in a small padded pouch for safe keeping.Would recommend.

I'm not sure if the small sensor of my compact camera fails to make anything of these filters, but the effects for me are barely noticeable.1) The 4 point star is the only one that does what you'd expect, and does it well.2) The warming filter has a red tint, but it doesn't do anything drastic that the built in white balance settings of my camera can't handle.3) The soft focus filter seems to do absolutely nothing, least of all anything resembling a soft focus effect.I had better results just breathing on the filter to make it foggy (incidentally surprisingly effective...)
