Beautiful shoe, tight fit on the laces area, can be solved with hair dryer
I ordered these Clarks Lyon Boots in Navy Suede sized 12M. I usually wear a 12M in Clarks shoes. Overall, I'm happy with the shoes as they are incredibly beautiful, well made, and they fit alright after a little bit of adjusting. The normal listing price for these Clarks is around $130ish, but for about one picosecond, the boots went on sale for about $70, and with my super human reflexes, I pounced on the opportunity and bought them at the discount.Out of the box, the shoes may appear to have scuffs, but before you go returning them in disappointment, check to see if these marks are just powder. One of my shoes had some kind of powder on it out of the box that came off with a gentle brushing. The powder was probably a desiccant (from one of those silica bags that say DO NOT EAT).Now for the fit. Putting them on was a bit difficult, but that's to be expected with an ankle boot that has no side-zip and minimal lacing. The biggest problem I had with the overall fit of the shoe is the bridge - the top of the shoe where the laces rest. I felt a few points of pressure coming from straps that the laces are anchored by.If you are feeling a similar tightness in your new pair of Clarks, worry not, there's a solution. I did this and now the shoes fit fine! Basically, you put on thick socks, stuff your heavily-clad feet into the shoes, and apply gentle heat to the tight areas with a hair dryer set on low. I put on hiking socks and used my grandma's trusty solid steel shoe horn to get my feet into the boots. Then I used the hair dryer as described. Don't hold the dryer directly on the leather. You don't want to heat the leather too much or else it will harden. Basically, you're "massaging" the material - the pressure from your sock'ed feet accelerated by the radiant heat of the dryer stretches the grain of the leather.I felt the sock and hair dryer technique take almost immediate effect with these shoes, which again was a promising sign! After about 10 minutes of heat treatment, the shoes were no longer uncomfortable to put on and wear on my bare feet. I am grateful for that, as these are just too darn beautiful to pass on.Overall, I highly recommend these shoes! They are so stupendously gorgeous. The suede is a lovely deep navy, and the construction is marvelous. The only problem is with the bridge's fit, but that can be remedied with ye olde sock-and-hair-dryer treatment.UPDATE: I've had these shoes for about 10 months now and I love them. I do believe they love me too considering how they treat my feet. After only one or two wears, I stopped noticing the tightness in the bridge of the shoe, so I either have permanent nerve damage or the lovely leather broke in. I'm going with the second option because I can still feel my feet. I found a suede brush in my garage so I've been dusting off these shoes after each use to further bolster these boots' affection for me.Long story short, the shoes break in marvelously.

Comfortable and cute!
Love the shoes! They are real suede. Only drawback is that my right shoe is slightly lighter in shade but not enough to send back. I am probably the only one that will notice. Typical for suede fabric. They were little tight to get on but once I got them on, they fit like a glove. Super comfortable as I walk. I am sure in time the leather will stretch. Very happy with this purchase.

Comfort was okay - and they look great.
I give boots a four-star review if I love them, then come back after wearing them for a season to update.I love the way these look and ordered them in the brown oiled and black suede. They look more expensive than they were, and I find the rubber sole and heel comfortable.I have giant size 11 wide feet and because I don't wear heels a lot my foot will cramp up a bit when I do. I could probably stand to wear heels more often (now I can because these look so great) and I'm hoping these will get more comfortable as my foot muscles get used to it.I wear these with jeans that are rolled up right past where these end and they look good. If I can dig out my longer straight leg and slight boot cut jeans I'll definitely wear these with them - I've always liked that look.I bough 11 wide and that's my usual size. They fit perfect with thin socks, and I wore them once with very thick winter wool socks and they were a big cozy but not uncomfortable. I expect them to stretch a bit and fit better with time.

Strange yet mostly comfortable shoe
Okay, so these do have a very odd fit. But not from the base of the shoe. It's the top part that puts odd pressure on the top of the foot. I've had Clark's wedges that did this. Usually after they break in, it's fine. But the good parts: very cute and unusual shoe and otherwise comfortable. Goes with a ton of stuff. Normally wear a 7 in flats, 7.5 in heels, got a 7.5 and it fits perfectly. Always a 7.5 in Clark's, so I'd stick with the size you normally get. Generous toe room, mild arch support.

Cute/ not for long wear
If you have a high arch the part that goes across the top of the shoe may be a bit tight. A blow drying and socks helped open it up for me. Sizing up wouldn’t help because it would just be longer and not wider. Once opened up, decently comfortable. Wouldn’t recommend for long walking. If you’re sitting at a desk majority of the day, you’re good to go.

Ready to wear or walk!
It's a wonderful thing when you can wear a pair of shoes right out to box without adjusting to the shoe. I followed the advice of other wide-foot wearers and ordered a half size down. Actually I purchased these shoes in another color from another website in my standard 6.5 size, but also buying wide for the first time to accommodate my broad pods! I was surprised that they were too roomy and I needed thick socks to accommodate what felt like gaps of space in the shoe. The best thing about this shoe to me is the rubber heel and sole. While it makes it more casual looking, it also provides more comfort. If you tend to walk hard or for long period of time on concrete streets, the rubber help compensate for the impact as well as, wet streets and slippery tiles. I just find rubber soles more comfortable like sneakers.

The perfect bootie
The perfect fit! I am a solid 8-8.5 in shoes and they were a perfect fit. Not too short, not to tight, and accommodates my high instep with the lacing. I Can wear them for hours even with the higher heel. And what a sharp looking bootie! They get compliments every time I wear them. I just avoid wearing them in damp weather to not stain the leather. A total win purchase.

good quality, bit uncomfortable
i had high expectations on comfort as it is Clarks’ product. The built is good quality but the heels are very uncomfortable. ended up buying a flat shoe on 2nd day of wearing it and switched to it midway as i was unable to walk/stand on those.

Live these booties
Love these booties. Love at first sight! They were a bit tight on top of my feet( usually I’m a size 7.5 or 38) but after several days of wearing them it got better. I would however order a size 8 next time for this reason but length wise they were ok. Great buy and i bought them on sale.. shipping was great as usual. The color is lighter in person put still very nice:)!

Love them!
Just got these fantastic shoes. They fit snug but will use shoe stretcher to stretch, hopefully that’ll work. Only paid $35.00 for them and when I went back to the site they had gone up to $158.00 so I got an awesome deal!
