Suited my needs, worked as designed, and recommend this item !!!
Bought for my old air compressor that died, I turned in into a secondary storage tank for my big 60 gal 2 stage compressor, it gives me another 30 gallons of air storage so my compressor doesn't run as often, I plumbed both tanks together with black iron pipe and used the ball valve to isolate the smaller tank when I need to. No leaks, appearance is nice, brass is a durable metal, easy installation, size is perfect, and ball valve was very compatible with my project needs !!

Does what it should
This solved my problem. I bought a new air hose reel and installed it but there was a small leak at the reel’s coupling. This let air leak off and the compressor would start up a couple of times a day to keep the pressure up. I installed this valve between the connector hose and the coupling so I could shut off the reel without disconnecting it from the compressor.
