Sadly this doesn't match the picture. The weave of the rope is much looser and chunkier. The ends were not frayed so there was a good inch to an inch of a quarter on each side of just rope poorly tied with thread that easily untied itself just by rubbing the finger over it on both sides.So be prepared to do a little extra work to change the thread on the ends and trim the excess to the amount of fraying that you would like after you unweave the ends.Seeing that you can get these for $5 on ebay. I assume the London magic one would be better because the picture illustrated a nicer rope quality but maybe the photo is misleading because it's not the highest quality photo. Overall it works and you have to practice. But I already had a rope like this and thought I was going to get a better finished rope with a tighter weave.

The trick is fun for my eight year old and works well. Gave it four instead of five stars because it began fraying really bad at the ends right away and revealed that it isn't actually a rope inside. He had to rubberband the ends.

I bought this for my stage performance but sometimes it is very hard to make it straight. At the two edges by the side, it looks like bend which creates doubt to the crowd. I nearly failed twice already. On the other hand it doesn’t tends to fold very good and doesn’t looks like rope either. So I have to get another one for my stage show soon.

Difficult to use; the inner pieces that hold it stiff rattle loudly. Better to buy the Red magic rope listed on Amazon; works easy and no noise.

I had planned to return this but forgot. The rope is very difficult to use and you can only keep it out straight for about a second before it collapses. I’ve used other ropes before, so I know it’s not my technique. It’s just junk.
