In my 40s with clear, unlined skin. However I have sensitive, dry skin with rosacea. Typically my skin has a flush (type 1 rosacea) with some visible capillaries, but I did experience one pustulopapular flare up (type 2) that led me to be even more discerning with what I use on my face. I don't regularly wear make up, and when I do, it is of great quality and I keep it to a minimum. Even so, I prefer a barrier between any make up and skin. My skin likes products with nourishing ingredients that are gentle. After washing and applying moisturizer and nourishing oils, I like to put on a primer. But not any sort of primer. I want it to be an extension of my face care. So I look for products that aren't relying on silicones to prime the face. Of many I tried, there are just two that I like so far. I like 100% Pure brand brightening primer to give my face a little nourishing boost as well as this brightening primer by LUXURY by Sofia. They can be used under make up, or by themselves. This primer feels nice, and works well as an under neath make up primer. In addition to some wonderful ingredients such as Aloe, jojoba seed oil,green tea, avocado butter etc (not the whole list), it is also cruelty free, and made in USA.

It feels so soft and glides on effortlessly. My make up last longer when I use it and looks great!

I need to say that this primer is absolutely wonderfull. I have sensitive skin and normally it is very difficult for me to find the perfect product. When I was reading about the ingredients of this primer, It sounded to me like it is really what I want to use before my make up; and also for those days when I want to look totally natural. I bought it and I have used it every single day and I need to say that my skin looks amazing. My make up matches perfectly with this primer and I love to use it on my "no-make-up" days. This primer makes my skin look absolutely gorgeous, soft, clean and more young and healthy.Thank you so much to Luxury by Sofia for creating this powerful and amazing Primer. I gave this product 3 stars only because I really liked it and it worked well, however I was very disappointed that in less than 6 weeks it went bad with a rancid smell and the texture got real watery. I only got to use less than a quarter of the bottle and when I talked to the company they said they have a 30 day return policy. So I didn't get even half my $20 worth and they won't do a refund or replacement. I won't be buying again.

For the last 5 years I've tried to incorporate natural skin care into my makeup products. It's been difficult to say the least but finding primers and foundations has been the easiest aspect. This is my go to primer and truly works for all day (and even tomorrow when I forget to wash my face before bed) coverage. I use Pacifica foundation over this and I just don't even get the occasional pimples anymore. This does not clog my pores and my face feels so light and natural after use! Knowing the ingredients inside also makes me feel soooo much better about wearing makeup now.Best of wishes to this company, I will be a lifelong buyer as long as the formula remains the same.

I’ve been using this primer for my face due to its natural ingredients. Because the primer applies like cream, one day I applied it to my scalp with my fingertips on a whim. My scalp felt amazing!So, besides using it for my face, I’ve been rubbing a quarter-sized amount with my fingertips into my scalp every morning and my hair now looks beautiful! Even my husband noticed!

Just received this, was so excited after reading reviews but I’m not sure if it’s damaged or is basically watered down product. This comes out like water and I see nothing, no priming effect! No brightening! Will be returning, definitely not what I was looking for. Smells like aloe Vera water, I have tried several natural products and love the way they work on me but this one is basically aloe water in a bottle.

Was just too oily for my oily skin.
