Why did you pick this product vs others?:Everyone at my job is getting one of these now.

I'm a knife guy and I'm very particular about them.This one is a keeper.I used to have an AG Russell folding chefs knife, but it walked off on a trip to deer camp and no one would ever admit to even seeing it. I needed to replace itThe Russell was fairly heavy and not at all suitable for backpacking or even for sticking in a pocket, but it was great in an apron when you didn't want to lay the knife down to use both hands...just fold it up, put it in the apron pocket and carry on.I wanted to replace it with something lighter that I could stick in a pocket when going out for a steak or a rack of baby back ribs...don't you just hate those cheap serrated steak knives most places seem to favor...I do.I looked around and found this guy and couldn't be happier...its half the weight, one third the cost of what it replaced.It's not a EDC knife, but you could if you wanted too.The only thing I would want is a RH bevel edge, which I will do myself...just take a bit of work, but I did it to the other guy, so why not.

Blade is of good quality. Hasn't rusted.Holding it feels nice and the locking mechanism seems to work good after multiple uses.Folds and tucks away nicely when not in use.

Perfect size and folds for compactness and safety while digging into camp kitchen bin. No more need for a separate sheath that falls off or gets grimy inside. This is easier to clean and maintain. It’s a nice quality blade and handle, easy to open and close. Weight is nice. I made steaks and chicken thighs the first time I used this at camp. Sliced other meats and veggies at home to test it out and I could see using this if I had only one knife in my home kitchen. So sturdy. Absolutely love it.

I don’t give a five star rating but once in a blue moon but I enjoy using this knife in our camper van for food prep as well as just plane cutting. Very sharp and well made.

I got my new Bronco in October 2021 and had planned a long trip with no specific destinations, camping along the way. I realized I needed a nice all purpose cooking knife, and spotted this on Amazon. I ordered it and it came in time for my road trip, which ended 14 days, 10 states and 3400 miles later. I couldn't be happier with this knife. I cut onions, apples, carrots, celery, steak and potatoes along the way, and it never lost its edge. I ended up buying another when I got home to put in my go-bag. Quality, especially for a knife under $30, is simply amazing!

The media could not be loaded. I was truly surprised with this knife, because of how sharp it was upon arrival. I’m serious, this knife is extremely sharp in comparison to some of the others. I’ve ordered online, which don’t even come close.. thank you for this awesome knife with an awesome price. It is a fantastic steak knife and I carry it whenever my wife and I go out to eat steak. It cuts through steaks like butter.
