Instapark Welding Helmets GX-600, GX-350 USA, GL-950 Parent

I purchased this helmet as a Christmas gift, didn't get a chance to test it until February. The auto dark did not work. To much time had past for a return option. Posted a review stating my frustrations, within a day I had an email asking if I wanted a new helmet or a refund with no need to return the dysfunctional helmet. Requested a new helmet, it works awesome!! So happy because my boyfriend really loved this helmet! Outstanding customer service and a great product!

Love the product. Most people think I’m using an expensive welding helmet as well, and to be totally honest, I can't see much of a difference. I do have to buy the hardhat headgear at an extra cost tho. But the product itself is an excellent purchase. Will continue to buy as long as they remain at the same price point. I’m an ironworker and I love this helmet. I buy a couple at a time, and replace when I beat them up too much-even though I really don’t need to. I was beating up my expensive hoods and after I stumbled upon these, I realized buying these made way more sense, and I didn’t noticed much, if any really, difference in quality. I do however have to keep the shade cranked up but it’s spot on. 9/10 would love the option for hard hat headgear. Definitely buy or try one out-you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been telling work buds and they’ve all been pleased.

This welding helmet is good for its simple features, which provides protection while welding different positions, durability when accidentally dropped and affordable price. The design which gives it character was a plus. Being that the front lens cover is easily replaceable there is a drawback. At times while welding alot of sparks would hit the lens and overtime that can warp and create openings to the sensor lens. Some pieces of metal got in the sensor but it hasn't effected my vision or the auto darkening. Overall it's not perfect but it's a good affordable helmet for welding beginners.

Large viewing area compared to most affordable helmets dims right away easily adjustable Love this mask almost as nice as the one I use at work and my son loves it as his first welding mask If you were doing overhead it wouldn't be the mask up for that of course but for basic welding and bench welding no concerns at all I have used it at home to do exhaust repairs as well as many other educational welds with my son for hours and I love how clear You can see it and things around you makes working and welding much easier

I am not particularly happy with this products the light that I have is overhead and it reflects off of the inside of the helmet. And I have the helmet adjusted all the way forward so I'm not really sure so how to fix it. When the reflection of the light getting inside of the Mask I can't see what I'm doing. Also the headband , you have to tighten it way too much for the stay on your head and after just a few minutes it starts to hurt. Unfortunately I think I'm going to have to wind up returning it. And seeing what else I can find on Amazon. A different headband it would be a very good helmet when I get the reflection out of the way the helmet works great. As far as all the other features, the helmet works perfectUpdate: after using for a week straight now it won't lighten up after I stop welding. I have to flip it up to get it to reset. I'm not pleased at all with this product. Will be returning it.

At first, I was worried by all the talk about getting what you pay for in a welding helmet, as we'll as my stepson saying auto darkening lenses tend to flash you. My first time using it on a flux core mig welder, was incredible! The lense instantly went dark, the moment the arc struck! I highly recommend this welding hood for anyone welding! Also, the eagle looks so cool!

Just works for work... Not to small and does the job...Instapark did a great job at communicating with us eve during the holiday season when we needed this quick for a job just before ChristmasHopefully the helmet last a long time and puts with me.. If not I'll get another... I generally break any welding helmet in a year... Something to do with welding over my head....

Works as described. I have had better mask but I also paid more for them. Came with an extra set of lenses which was a bonus.
