REVLONShoot The Moon Lipstick Metallic, Odyssey

Nothing special about it - I purchased it to get the look that is in the photo but it just looks like regular pink/purple lipstick. Also it is matte, not glossy or shiny, and definitely not metallic.

This is fuchsia pink, not purple, super soft so it smears and stains everything it touches. I hate wearing it and had to toss it after three tries

This lipstick is so sparkly and a nice color. One that will give you a cool look. Worth buying

Will stick to shimmery lip gloss

More of a tinted lipstick/chapstick than a sparkly purple as shown. It’s okay, but not as advertised.

Its alot lighter than the picture shows. Wanted a darker one

When I saw the colour of this lipstick I immediately thought my daughter-in-law would be the ideal person to test it. But I should have asked first. I know she's vegan but I had no idea this philosphy would extend to makeup. Surely it's not made of animals? The issue, it transpires, is that while Revlon do not test their products on animals, their products are tested on animals in order to be sold in China.So, sorry, this isn't going to be a great review of this Shoot the Moon Collection Odyssey lipstick. Having said the problems about its vegan credentials, there is a lot to like about it. The gold artwork on the dark metallic blue outer tube depicts stars, some of which are shooting stars, a spacecraft and an flying saucer. It's a nice container. The Odyssey lipstick is a dark metallic purple and really only you know whether you can pull such a bold colour off.

There comes a time when you pretty much have all the red and pink shades of lipstick that you will ever need, only wanting to replace it should you finish one or it dry out. Something a little different is required and 'Stardust' by Revlon is certainly this. Part of the 'Shoot the Moon' collection, this is a grey shade of lipstick that has a hint of purple to take the edge off.This collection of shades is meant to turn a few heads and it does. The packaging is really nice and has a star pattern. The lipstick itself is classic Revlon quality and it is the traditional twist and apply style. In the case of 'Stardust' the colour palette is certainly a required taste. The grey is not as bold or unforgiving as you may imagine and with the right outfit is quite becoming. I don't think it is the type of lipstick that you would wear everyday, but for a fancy night out it can make a bit of a statement on your behalf.
