A: I've never done that, but immediately starts registering my heart rate as soon as I put it on. So I don't see why it wouldn't work for that purpose.

**Q: What are the main differences between the FT4 and FT7?**
A: Hi Chelsea! Practically the 2 models have the same basic features heart rate monitor, what distinguishes FT 7 is that you can save the data on your computer or laptop through her polar site, and the other difference is that it has an option that is called "Energy pointer" that will determine the optimal intensity at which the maximum fat burning effect is achieved. In my opinion not much different from each other because I think they are very easy and convenient to use perfect for people who start training in any discipline or Gym with my personal training clients have always been a great tool to reach your goals . I hope you have served as something my humble response. blessings!!!!
