👍Still using this braided line, so far it’s been really impressive.I had tried a different brand for braided line and admittedly it was cheaper than the Berkeley however the difference between the two have been night and day.No issues with line tying itself up during casts or carried away in light winds.Although braided it has managed to withstand some minor abrasions from difficult rocky areas.So far out of all the braids I have used it casts really well.This is definitely great value for money.I have spent far less time removing knotted line, getting snapped off and spending more time focussing on the areas I am fishing.I think at some stage I would like to try out a more expensive braided line, just to see if there really is a notable difference between price points.

Good quality braid line that I've loaded onto a spinning reel to use when lure fishing for pike. Only had one session up to now, so it's early days, but the line appears to perform well and I've used Berkley braid in the past with good results.

Spooled up a Shimano Super GT 4000 with no problems at all. The line is dead thin for the capacity... 87lbs at .25!! And 300m for £30?? I won't be losing any lures on this hopefully.

Berkeley Whiplash is the perfect braid for lure fishing.It’s ultra thin profile makes it perfect for deep water jig fishing when on windy days, it just cuts through both water pressure and wind..The breaking point is accurate to the pound breaking strain advertised on the package spool.The only thing to be aware of, is if you intend filling up more than one spool, because of its thin profile, it takes more length of line to fill up your fishing reel spool. But personally I think it’s the best, and always buy this braid.If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as they say.

I use this with a fixed spool. I've used it for my last fifteen outings from beach, pier and river.Seems to be doing the job perfectly. I'm currently using the dark green. The only problem I find is that birds can't see hit. So I'm thinking about a different colour next time.
