Good value for £11 and arrived very promptly. It comes with a battery and charger and is bright for the money, and it seems well made, but the claims of its brightness are wildly exaggerated. My Lenser p7 (mark 1), which did cost considerably more, is slightly brighter and has a slightly better 'throw' and it is rated at <200 lumens. So if you want a decent, cheap torch for a low cost go for it but if you think you're going to get a super torch then you will be disappointed. I do suspect the same applies to similar 'budget' torches.After reading this review, Semlos changed the description of the brightness and then, when the torch was upgraded, sent me a free new one. I have reviewed this separately but to summarise the new one gives an amazing amount of light for a torch so small and cheap. the 5 stars review is for the updated version.

This item produces very poor illumination, it could be a faulty unit but unfortunately the 'Amazon return window' has closed after only a short time. It feels decent enough quality but a torch that doesn't provide adequate illumination is not fit for purpose. It wasn't very expensive but I have purchased cheaper torches before and they give a really good light. One to avoidUPDATE: I contacted the seller who sent out a replacement. I haven't actually had a chance to test it yet as haven't required a torch in the lighter months! But I'll amend to 4 stars for good customer service!

shame its not zoomableUPDATED 4/2018I was happy to hear the seller had listened to feedback, and has since sent me the updated version of the torch to review. I have been using this torch for a few days now and can say it earns the “adjustable” in its name and is much improved, with the ability to use either three AAA batteries or an 18650 battery. Super bright and the zoom is good. The version I was provided with however did not come with an 18650 battery like the older iteration, and so these can be purchased separately at a low cost. I definitely recommend this updated version of the product.The seller is very helpful and seems to genuinely care about the customer experience and customer feedback, which means customer support with this seller I rate much higher than others.

The torch is made out of solid aluminium. aluminium is a superior material; relatively soft, durable, lightweight, ductile, and malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull grey, depending on the surface roughness, It is nonmagnetic and does not easily ignite. in this case, the aluminium is black and has been ionised to protect its surface. the torch emits about 40 lumens thus illuminating your surrounding area. the clip on the side is not attached properly and I believe that wielding on the top would be a sensible solution. I have difficulty adjusting the exterior light output, due to the sensitivity of the tedious button. I believe that one must spend a decent £30-£50 for a durable and efficient military torch. I would recommend the product, if you just need a simple but stylish torch.

I Couldn't get this product to work.The product arrived on time, clean packaging with an included charger, As the package contains 2 elements this review ill be split into 2.THE FLASHLIGHT:The build quality of the flashlight feels good and the knurling on the handles makes for a very secure feel. The simple push button feels solid and is easily operated using one hand. However: the material itself doesn't feel the best quality, and the dry threads caused horrendous screeching when opening the rear of the torch in order to insert the battery. The battery went in smooth but after repeated attempts, including having 3 engineers look at it ) i was unable to get the flashlight working.THE CHARGERThe charger is a small compact charger that has a 3 point plug attached to it. The cable for th charger is extermly small and would struggle to reach from a floor point onto a normal desktop. As for the charger it took an externly long time to put any charge into the battery, and became worryingly hot.In conclusion i would not recommend this torch. when it comes to torches it really is worth spending money on a good one.

In a short summary, the torch is very durable and bright which is surprising considering how compact the product is. Now for the details...As someone who bought this for an intense job I can assure you that the torch will live through anything. It's lived through many drops and spillages with one exception - the belt clip. After a couple uses it started to bend and has just recently snapped off after a couple of weeks. Having said that though, its a very bright torch with a durable body, only for a tenner!

I am so pleased with this torch. It comes in its own box which is always useful and inside are the charger adapters(2).The battery 18650 is also included (best to charge fully before use)The torch is well made, solid and the tactical end is very handy to have.Upon turning the torch on in an unlit garden there is only one thing to say WOW .. for a torch of this size the beam is superb.I can not fault this torch for this price and would gladly say to anyone thinking of buying this item, buy.I would also add that I had contacted Semlos and their customer service was excellent, first class.I hope this review is helpful.

If you buy cheap, you'll buy twice. The on / off button is unreliable; it doesn't always activate as an internal part of the component seems to not connect properly. When it does, and you turn the torch off, you then have to cycle through all 5 light modes (high, medium, low, strobe and SOS) to get it back to normal again. This is usually done by not fully depressing the power button on other models. The only reason I bought this is I needed a smaller torch than the current tactical one I have. I'mSending this back 10 minutes after opening.

La lampe m'avait été livrée sans batterie ni chargeur ni aucun mode d'emploi de la part de Semlos et ne trouvait pas sur le net ou les acheter. J'ai mentionné ce problème. J'ai été rapidement contacté par le SAV de Semlos qui a remédié au problème. Bravo à eux.J'ai maintenant le plaisir d'utiliser ma torche dont la puissance est sans égal.

Produit reçu très rapidement. Packaging et emballage très correct (pour le prix).Le descriptif ne correspond pas exactement au produit livré.Toutefois, reçu avec une batterie et un chargeur (inclus dans la boite de rangement).Je doute que cette lampe délivre réellement 1200 Lumens mais l'éclairage reste très honorable.Pour un usage domestique, le rapport qualité / Prix est tout a fait convenable et assure le job.Très compacte, la prise en main et le "touché" est très agréable et elle m'accompagne maintenant quasiment en permanence lorsque la nuit tombe.

Cette lampe répond à mes attentes je travaille avec, celle ci est vraiment pratique et en plus rechargeable .livrée avec son chargeur et ca boite de rangement, le top!

je cherche encore la super boîte plastique, j ai eu le droit à une boîte en carton. Concernant le chargeur, celui ci fait très fragile, à voir dans le temps. Pour ce qui est de l efficacité de la lampe, j attends le chargement de la pile pour en dire plus, mais il va falloir que je cherche les différentes fonctions, car le manuel est écrit en anglais et je ne suis pas bilingue. Avant d acheter, je lis toujours les commentaires des clients précédents, sur ce coup là, les commentaires ne correspondent pas à la qualité du produit que j ai reçu. J ai besoin de cette lampe pour mon travail, la mienne m ayant lâché après 8 ans de bons et loyaux services, je doute que celle ci soit aussi efficace. Initialement elle est annoncé à une soixantaine d euros, si je l avais payé ce prix là, je l aurais immédiatement renvoyé. J attends de voir l éclairage pour prendre ma décision sur son retourSuite a mon mécontentement, le fournisseur m' a contacté et après plusieurs échanges de mails, j ai eu le droit à une nouvelle lampe, dans une petite valisette en plastique comme je le souhaitais. Je suis agréablement surprise de la réactivité de celui ci.

Livraison nickelPar contre un peu déçue du produit au niveau de la puissance. Je m'en sert pour le boulot en tant qu agent de sécurité et ce n'est pas assez puissant.
