This shelving hardware kit is awesome!
I purchased this shelving hardware kit after rediscovering a few planks of a little rough, but nicely finished, 30y/o plywood I had in storage with the intention of using them together to make an attractive set of shelves in the livingroom. I had looked in a local hardware store, but I just didn't like their selection of shelving kits - none I saw had the presentation I was looking for. Most were more suitable for a storage closet or laundry room where a less refinished style would be acceptable. These ISS Designs kits, on the other hand, are classy. ;) All parts came individually wrapped/separated so that the matte anodized finish arrived in perfect condition. Mounting screws included look skinny but adequate, given the quantity used, to fully support the finished shelf system. I used slightly shorter and fatter screws (still with flush tapered head), however, because I needed them to fit the concrete wall anchors I was using. Pics are just mock-up for the review - I still need to touch up the plywood shelves here and there, so please don't mind the peeling edges of the veneer and the scrapes. LOLI've uploaded a series of images (I hope Amazon keeps them in order) and a description below to help address a few comments about installation I've read in other reviews. This should hopefully help others work through those concerns and get the best installation possible. After choosing the location for the shelves, I marked a vertical line where I was to mount the first track. In my case, I chose not to obsess over mounting the track perfectly plumb vertical. Since it was going to be fairly close to a doorway, I elected keep it parallel to the vertical line of the doorway - that way, it would be visually vertical regardless if it was actually perfect. I then drew a another line parallel to the first and the doorway edge where the second vertical track would be mounted.I then compared the two tracks side by side looking for the orientation that matched up the screw holes. Then I held one track on top of my line on the wall (so that the line was visible through the screw holes) and decided about what height I'd like to mount it and marked one hole - in my case the third one down from top was the most convenient. Using a T-square, I then drew a horizontal line over to the vertical line of the second track. I then drilled pilot holes at those two intersections, then expanded the holes to full size to accommodate wall anchors. I inserted my anchors and placed the tracks back on the wall, loosely screwing the tracks at appropriate height with the single screws. This allowed me to then use the aluminum track as the template for the drilling rest of the pilot holes - being very careful to swivel the loose track as needed to make sure the holes were always centered on that drawn vertical line (visible through the holes in the track). I then removed the tracks and drilled out the pilot holes to proper size for the wall anchors, then I mounted the tracks. This process gently and automatically straightened any bowing of the tracks (if existed) as all the screws were tightened into place. The next was to determine the best way to mount the shelves. I have a 4 shelf model, and I intend to use all 4 (still need to fix the veneer on the 4th shelf so it's not pictured), and I wanted them to be evenly spaced vertically. I determined the location for the highest shelf, then worked down from there. I marked the wall at both 14" intervals, and at 15" intervals below that top shelf line. And after measuring items that were to be displayed on the shelves, I determined that 15" shelf spacing was perfect to not appear too spread out, or too compacted - plus it was plenty tall enough to accommodate the items with a couple inches to spare for some breathing room.As I installed the first top shelf support, I noticed it naturally pivoted down 5mm at its 'v' as it was locked into place from the diagonal insertion angle to horizontal. To make sure all my shelves stayed a true 15" between them, I remeasured and marked new guides at 15" intervals from the now mounted top shelf. Then I marked a second line 5mm above those guides to accommodate for the height shift of the supports as they're rocked into place. I made sure that the 'v' of the diagonal shelf support lined up with that 5mm line, so that when I locked it into place, it would be exactly at my 15" marks.Simultaneously while marking where I wanted my shelves, I also wanted to make sure they were going to be absolutely level - this was kinda tricky given the infinitely adjustable nature of the track/support system. The best way I could figure out to get these shelves perfectly level was to insert both supports and leave them in the loose diagonal position. I aligned the 'v' of the left support to the 5mm line I had marked, then placed a straightedge in the 'v' (in my case a drywall T-square) all the way across to the 'v' of the other support on the opposite track, put a bubble level on the straightedge and adjusted that opposite track's support up/down until the straightedge showed a perfect level. Then it was a matter of just quickly and confidently locking both supports at the same time - like ripping off a band-aid - just doing it quickly without giving it time to stray from perfect alignment. LOL That method worked the first time, and every time. The final stage was to align the shelves with each other so they were all centered on the tracks/supports. I cheated, and just centered the top shelf, then used my square to drop down and show me where the side edge of the lower shelves should touch. They've all been pencil marked in a hidden spot to make future lining up trouble free. Now that it's hung and I see the quality and finished look, it's making me think I might need to get a second smaller kit for the opposite wall in the LR. These are really nice!PS: I'd be happy to answer any questions about my mounting/leveling process if needed - just ask in the questions section. :)

Nice shelving for glass shelves
I had been shopping for brackets or shelving for some glass shelves I had. This is exactly what I wanted.Easily installed when careful to measure and level. While the brackets seem to be adjustable, the way they lock into place would suggest they are somewhat permanent. We opted to use anchors not provided just to be safe. Great shelves, thinking of ordering more.

Danger - Cheap Screws Supplied by ISS Designs Easily Break Off in Wall
This appeared to be a quality shelf unit until I started installing the rails. Remember, this is supposed to hold 4 glass shelves at up to 130 pounds each for a total of 520 pounds being applied to the rails. However, when I started to install the rails on the wall with wood studs the screws provided by ISS Designs snapped off in the studs. I've been in construction for many years and have a good 'feel' about how much to tighten screws. These screws definitely snap off before sufficient tension is achieved to securely hold the rails to the wall to subsequently restrain the significant strain and shear forces applied by up to 520 pound of shelving. In my opinion, these screws pose a real danger of breakage, either during installation, or later when heavy shelving is in place.

Nice looking but hard to level.
While the form factor looks nice, it is extremely hard to get the shelf arms level to each other. You need a level to get it precise. Once you do pull the arm down to lock it into position, a deformation is created in the vertical piece that makes any further minute adjustment harder.

Bent pole
Hung the system up yesterday and the one pole was bent, we used it but it doesn't look good, you can really tell that it is bent. Don't like that the shelf is not attached in anyway.
