Kaboom BowlBlaster for Hard Water Toilet Bowl Cleaner Gel, 24oz.

The guts of the toilet in my master bath needed replacing. I had mistakenly just turned off the water and stopped using it. The toilet ended up horrifically stained. It tried cleaning it so many times, including trying some online “miracle” suggestions. I even tried to pumice the stains out. I was resigned to the fact I would need to replace the toilet. I had a small hard water stain in my other toilet that came out so easily with this product , I decided to really put it to the test with the horribly stained one. OMG is all can say. It was was spotless with minimal scrubbing and 1 cleaning. This product is a miracle and now I do not need to replace the toilet, just the guts. Thank you Kabloom, for such an amazing product. Btw, I RARELY write reviews. The product has to be exceptional (good or bad) for me to chime in. Anyone who has stains they can’t get rid of must try this!! Just wish I had taken a before pic.

No joke, the name rings true!Living out in the woods with well water (hard water and calcium) and 3 guys in the house, lets just say our toilet had seen better days.I've tried straight vinegar, vinegar with baking soda, bleach and select few other toilety cleaners i cant recall the names of. They cleaned the toilet fine but never the bowl enough to my liking. It was always stained and had calcium caked on to the under rim.I seen this product pop up and read the reviews and at the price of under $5, I figured I would give this a shot.The product came on time, no damage to package and i twisted it to open. It coats the bowl well and works almost instantly to fight all that disgusting mess. I let it sit for 5 minutes and noticed an almost white mist. I opened the hallway door close to the bathroom to get rid of the chemical smell.Grabbing a regular toilet brush i worked from the rim down to the drain hole. My toilet went from a tea like brown to WHITE.I highly recommend this product! It works amd is easy on those with low budgets!!!

Something bizarre going on with product. I order 6 bottles of Kaboom which we’ve used for years. Product is supposed to be a thick purple liquid which changes to green as it cleans. These bottles contain a thin blue liquid which doesn’t change color and doesn’t clean. Amazon issued refund but I hope this note reaches manufacturer to look into this weird occurance.

First, the product works great. However, the ad and applied labeling implied it was a "hard water" formulation.According to manufacturer, there is only ONE formulation of this product. With the exception ofseveral (but not all) Amazon listings for "Kaboom BowlBlaster Toilet Bowl Cleaner for Hard Water", this product is listed elsewhereon the web in the same way it is labeled, i.e. "Kaboom BowlBlaster". If we had realized that there is only one formulation, we would have purchased the product from Walmart at a lower price. White label applied to backof container ( over existing UPC code) also describes product as specifically for "hard water".Again, great product that does not need confusing advertising to sell on its merits.

Like so many others here, there was a gross toilet in my house that was present when I bought it. Most of the inside of the bowl was brown from what was probably a combination of hard water, mold, and other things. Lysol and Clorox toilet cleaners barely made a dent. Neither did filling the bowl up with bleach and letting it soak while I was out of town for the weekend and scrubbing when I got back. This was my Hail Mary before getting rid of the toilet entirely.And it worked! Taking before and after pics didn't occur to me (and would have been gross) but the toilet looks brand new. The cleaner never seemed to change color but it clung well to the bowl and took minimal scrubbing to get the job done.The smell was off-putting but I can totally live with it.

This stuff is fantastic! I live in a very hard water area, and when my water softener was not working I got a thick brown area in my toilet. I tried all the usual household cleaners along with some homemade remedies. Even tried an sos pad. None of them removed the unsightly brown area in my toilet. One squeeze of the Kaboom and it was gone! I was so shocked I squeezed in another, yep, it was gone!!

This is very hard to get anymore and it is the best toilet bowl cleaner I have ever used.

This is not a fresh clean scent. It smells very chemically and artificial. Also, the color changing is very gross. It turns from purple to a sickly sewer green. That doesn't make me feel like the toilet is cleaner. It feels like it's dirtier for having this cleaner used. Not a smart choice in terms of product marketability. It's not expensive or hard to use so I couldn't fault them for that, I just don't feel it works very well and the scent and color changing is counterproductive to the act of cleaning your toilet bowl.

I thought I would have to replace my toliet because it was so gross. This saved it. My toliet looked like it belonged in a condemned building.
