Book was in great shape. Amazing price. Was shipped quicker than expected.

Difficult to understand. The play was written in the 1940's and the British humor is difficult to follow. Of course, if you are British then you may love this play.

A very interesting piece of absurdist theater. I loved how the author made use of few characters, some wisdom, apparent nonsense and bits of humor all throughout the play.

I thought it was pretty radical....as in it caught my attention, the humor was great, the irony was nice, and its overall a great play if you read it with the class. :D

This book was just what I expected from the photo. And it was a brilliant little play! Highly recommend 😊

This book is really riveting; there is a lot of subtle symbolism and the plots and social commentary really tells a lot about the time period this was written.

The lines in Act II that begin with "Half of the harm that is done in this world is due to people who....." shjould be read and and considered by EVERYONE.

I wasn't expecting much as the price was so low but the book arrived quicker thanexpected and in immaculate condition! I will definitely be using them again!

Something of a period piece, this was chosen as the text for our play reading group. We all agreed a modern day audience would find this hard going. First produced at the Edinburgh Festival of 1949 it is a mixture of the popular psycho babble of its day, service entrances and catering men. Not my cup of tea.
