The mechanical pump on my 1974 12hp Kohler magnum engine stopped pumping. After having (2) Kohler replacement pumps, both of which, failed within an hour, I decided to convert the fuel system to a pulse pump system. So, I ordered this pulse pump and made an adapter to use the engine crankcase pulse to drive it. Finding a place to mount the pump was the biggest problem. Once I did, the pump works great and I'm very satisfied with it performance. (Note; when converting from a mechanical pump to a pulse system, the pump always has to bee higher than the tap for the pulse, unless it's a dry pulse with no oil in it.)

It never worked - first started it up gas was poring out of it , checked the bowl and needle was sitting at the bottom - put needle back in checked the float and it never worked right

Right now? Both parts work great on a 20Hp, B&S INTEK engine model 40777 0121-E5, LTX 1000 tractor. Noticed some reported early failures so will update this if that's the case for me. The fuel filter is exactly like the OEM version and so far it working as designed.

I suppose you get what you pay for. Installed on my Craftsman tractor and worked for three weeks. A total of about three hours of run time. Started mowing the lawn today and mower was cutting out. Checked fuel filter and it was dry. Save your money and get an OEM fuel pump.

Priced well and includes filter. Use lock tight on the four bolts holding it together or they vibrate loose and start leaking

Install was super easy and brought my D160 back to life. It fits and works fine despite the description not mentioning this model. I hope this lasts longer than 52 hours like the original one did.

I replaced the original stock pump on a John Deere L118 (quite old at this point). The pump continues to work extremely well, and I have not had an issue with it at all.

Pump didn't work and I can't return it, because the post office refused the package saying it smelled like gasoline.
