Expect the back to squat
Upon spending hours researching lifts for my jeep, crunching numbers, and building lifts in my mind, I decided to go with the RE7121m 2.5" lift kit with mono shocks for my new jeep jk. This kit appeared to be exactly what i wanted. It was totally equipped with all parts, aesthetically pleasing, and engineered to suit my needs. After receiving the kit at home, I was very pleased with the packaging and overall quality of the parts. Installation went well. I didn't have any major set backs. I want to believe that Rubicon Express is an excellent brand that I would be able to make purchases from in the future. Except…. I’m on the fence with the fact that my jeep is now noticeably lower in the rear. It is squatting on any level of ground by an inch or more. If the kit had leveled out the vehicle or kept some of the rake, there wouldn’t be an issue. The fact of the matter is, the jeep is not level, and I didn’t spend almost 700 dollars and 8hrs of installation for a one and done lift. I’ve always been appreciative of quality products from reputable companies and am also disappointed when the results are less than par.Note: The jeep is completely original excluding the lift with 200 miles on it.Update: Rubicon Express was able to satisfy by issues with no problems. A+ for customer service.
