Dowsil 785N Silicone Sealant, Clear 310ml

I used this to repair a split in the polycarbonate rear light lens on my car. It was easy to use and seemed to adhere well to the lens. There seems to be a common issue with the dual polycarbonate lenses on some Porsches and Aston Martins. Provided that the light hasn't failed and you have got rid of all the moisture this might be a good fix to re-seal the unit and save yourself around £1000 for the cost of a replacement unit. Astronomical price for a plastic light with some LEDs inside!!! So...if you have a rear light problem wigh a split seem and water getting in then try this fix...it might work. I've tried it so we'll see how it holds up over the long term.
