I am a amateur radio operator and this works for me
It filters the incoming radio in m y headphones does a good job of filtering and bring the signal up louder.

Works wonders for CW
This unit does an OK job on SSB, and has lots of adjustments which can be selected, but makes the audio sound a little tinny as some of the lower frequencies are rolled off. Where this unit really shines, is on CW. I use this in conjunction with FLdigi and a simple microphone picking up my speaker outout, and using the waterfall display, I can zero beat a signal and isolate it out completely. So 3 stars for SSB, 5 stars for CW.
