I was looking for pins that were not going to bend unless I MEANT to and these are definitely the ones. I looked over probably 20 different pins' reviews, any that didn't mention them being too bendy, before I came across these. These fit the bill. Very strong, not blunt. Purchased in several sizes so I'll be posting this to those as well.

I have a small bookcase that I used to charge small gadgets. I was tired of having cables run everywhere, so I drilled a 1-1/2" hold in the back of it and installed a Uniseal gasket to protect the cables and the wood of the bookshelf. Because the bookshelf material is thin, the Uniseal kept falling of place and wasn't seated neatly.So I grabbed two of these safety pins and used a pair of lockjaw pliers to shove them right through the dense rubber of the Uniseal where it exits back of the bookcase by in order to lock it in place.I had to push so hard with the pliers I was expecting the safety pins to either bend or snap in half.But, nope! They held up, stayed straight, and now keep the rubber Uniseal properly seated in my bookcase.If these safety pins can pin a rubber Uniseal in place behind a bookshelf without bending, for sure they can stand up to whatever denim/upholstery application that you may have in mind for them.

These were perfect for pinning my thick traditional clothing.

The safety pins did not bend, even through 4 layers of clothing and use them on my blue jeans, so zipper won’t ride down…Shall buy this product again…Durable and Dependable!

I know this is weird, but these safety pins feel far sturdier than ones I’ve used in the past. They penetrate well too.I safety pin the toes of my socks together so I don’t end up with the dreaded “dryer ate one sock” problem. If it’s hungry, it’ll have to eat both!After years of pinning everything from thin trouser socks to thick woolen socks to fuzzy slipper socks, I can confidently comment on safety pin issues. 🙂First of all, the coil is tight enough that the knit won’t work its way onto the coil, necessitating a surgical intervention or ripped threads.The head of the pin is sturdy enough that it doesn’t come open in the wash, saving me from bloodied laundry from unexpected sticks.And so far, no rusting! These are the safety pins I didn’t know I needed!

Strong, sturdy safety pins. I've been looking for better safety pins for a few years. These are like the safety pins from the 70's and 80's when we used them for holding our clothes together when we lost a button or snap. Even work on the waistband of a skirt or pants! They hold well. Great for emergency repair til you get a chance to mend. Most of the safety pins made now bend too easy. Not these. So happy I found them!

I just received my order of NIftyPlaza safety pins. They are strong and sturdy just like the safety pins we grew up with. Most safety pins nowadays are thin, weak and poorly made. These are awesome and worth a little bit more money. Will last forever. A very good buy!
