The fitting was right to size. The pads are in the right places to protect the hips and tailbone, which was my reason for buying this.

Son uses for basketball as he he takes alot of charges and falls. He loves the extra added and padded protection it gives him. I bought McDavid in the past and these are just as good for half the price.

Fits
XL fits 6'1" 225lbs, waist 38. Padding a little thin, but could be closed cell foam which doesn't compress all the way flat for better protection. Not looking forward to finding out the hard way whether it works or not. LOL

Padding fell apart
They were chill, until it came to washing them. All the padding in the hurdle just came apart. It may have been on me, but after it just became useless.

Sturdy but padding is not removable
Really sturdy, definitely follow the washing instructions, son let his cousin borrow and they washed it in the washer and ruined the padding. I would definitely go with one where you can remove the padding. Fit to size
