I purchased these to use at family get-togethers when we are all at different tables. They are perfect for that occasion. The little wire basket they come in makes it quite easy to gather them up after dinner is over. They look nice and are the perfect size for these types of events.

They are sturdy and just the right size. We have a large family and looks so nice on the white cloth tablecloth’s. I set up 4 tables (24 people) and put 2 on each end. They were exactly what I was looking for and are priced so well. I love the metal storage basket that stores away nicely in the linen drawer.

I was so pleased with this set, it arrived in a timely manner and none of the pieces were broken. I agree with one of the other reviewers, the shakers are very elegant and substantial, you would never believe what a great price they are. Filling them was not a problem at all, I just folded a post-it note into a cone shape and held it up to the opening of the shaker until I determined the right size hole needed, then used the sticky part of the paper to hold the cone together and got to pouring. It only took 15 minutes to fill them all, easy peasy. I used these for an outdoor party where I had 5 tables set up, each seated 4 people. The size of the shakers were enough to accommodate each table with plenty left over after the meal (only about 1/4 used of each). I would definitely recommend.

Cute little shakers for entertaining. All the holes are the same so lots of salt & pepper come out at once. Wish the holes were smaller

My wife and I saw a set similar to this when we stayed at a bed-and-breakfast a while back. I immediately whipped out my cell phone, brought up the Amazon app and quickly found several choices for such an item. It may have been an impulsive purchase - like that precision mellonballer that never gets used - but since the novelty has worn off, I'm still very satisfied with the purchase. We do not entertain often, but when we do, it's usually for several people at a large table. Passing around salt & pepper shakers is so much of a pain that some people simply don't season their food. Well, these little puppies solve that problem - one set for each guest or between each pair of guests. Then the dinner conversation usually starts with someone exclaiming how they would like to have these. Then the subject of Amazon.com comes up and how wonderful it is to be able to order almost anything, with free delivery most of the time, and very quick free delivery for Prime members, etc. Whodathunk?
