Not a Picatinny or Weaver Rail
This Rail fits my older Vanguard perfectly with the look and feel of quality. This rail must be paired with the "Maxima" line of scope rings, the description does not mention that. The rail slot or key width is .145". too small for Picatinny (.206") and most Weaver (.180") rings. Took a some research, but I finally found this out. I then ordered a set of "Maxima" series rings and was very happy with the paring. Perfect fit, nice and tight, no play, no binding. Just wish Warne would have mentioned these facts in their adds for people like you and me, before we waste money on rings that won't fit on these rails... But now I have the scope mounted with the Maxima rail and Maxima rings.....I love it.......
