My mom loved it
I thought I would buy this for my mom for Mother's Day instead of a card. She loved the book and it was a very sweet gift. If you are looking to get your mom something heartfelt and make her feel special, I would recommend this book.

That’s been one of my fave sayings to my Mom friends & new Mamas. “No one gave me a book of directions.” Like I or any Mom “needs directions” but this is a fantastic reminder for all of our Moms & Daughters to keep life real & kind as well as forgiving etc.

I gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day at her college graduation, she loved it! My mom and I recently reconnected after a few years of not talking and this was the perfect gift for her since we started our newfound friendship. It made her so happy and I loved seeing her smile. Nice quality & idea but can bring out the trauma of all the ways your mom wasnt there when needed.
Book is made in nice quality with a beautiful sentiment. However... if you havent had a very healthy, close, and loving relationship w your mother... its may bring up some heartache of all the ways you needed her & she wasn't there. I spent 30 mins crying when that reality smacked me in the face. On the other hand it could be a really great gift for a mother to give to a daughter to allow her to recognize all of the ways she intends to be there for her.
