Easy install, high quality parts, brake seems to do the job quite well. It does come with a long cable and cable housing so if you going to buy this make sure you have something to trim those or just another cable that you could install. I really like how the brake lever opens up so i dont have to remove your grip for install. Fits fantastic and looks clean

Wonderful kit, easy to install and looks amazing

I removed the brakes from my BMX when I first got it but then decided that I would like to run brakes again. This kit was the most reasonably priced one from a reputable company so I figured I would give it a go. Installing these was a breeze and they come with absolutely everything you need. This is great because you don't have to buy cables separately. The brakes feel good with the compression-less housing. This helps stiffen up the cabling so it is a lot firmer than a normal brake. As far as braking performance it will stop you and doesn't squeal excessively however they are definitely not strong enough with the stock pads for brake tricks however I'm sure some better pads would help that. Overall for the price they are a good set of brakes just don't expect them to stop on a dime.

These brakes were a great fit on my 2014 Fit Bike Co BF2 that had no brakes. These brakes are very easy to install and work great! I can easily stop and skid the rear tire if I want to. These brakes are also very inexpensive compared to most of the competition. You don't even need to remove your grips to install the provided two finger lever. If I had to make a negative comment about the kit, it is that I had to use a zip tie to fasten the brake cable to the top tube. There are some really cool Velcro cable fasteners that would look a little nicer than the current zip tie that I used.

Bought this brake set for my 20" bmx and installed it myself. So far it works great. I do rear wheel tricks on coping and I haven't experienced any slipping. Setup was typical of any u-brake, taking a little technique to get it right, especially aligning the pads to the rim (tightening the pad to the brake arm will twist the pad position). I think most brakes have this quirk though, it just takes some technique. They will squeal like crazy if you put the pads on in the wrong direction. The correct direction is written on the side of each pad, just make sure you get that right if you put them on yourself or they will drive you crazy. That being said, if you brake while moving fakie (backwards) they will still squeal. Great brakes though especially for the price. Brake lever is good too. I use two finger braking and it is just the right size and feels comfortable.

I have a Spitfire BMX bike and this set up was super easy to install and the cables are easily cut to length to match the bike. Comes with caps for the sleeve and cable that are easily crimped to create a clean factory look. Brakes are spring loaded so are super smooth and retract when you release the lever. Does not come with and adjustment screw for the frame, but is not a deal breaker for me. Would recommend to anyone.

With some slight modification to the brake cable, this was exactly what I was looking for, if not more. Easy to install, works better than the brakes I had on prior and also look great

Do yourself a favor and just buy each brake part individually. The calipers are not for any frame that the 990 posts are far apart for 2.4 wide tires. The Cable like most is 50" long which is about 10-12" too long and you will have to cut it with wire cutters. There are precut and BMX sized cables out there you can get for $10. The Ghost Pads are nice pads they do wear a bit fast as there is a huge hunk of metal inside them, other basic BMS pads will most likely last longer. Being that they are black and not clear pads there for basic slowing down before tricks and not really for riding in the street if you need a hard stop. The lever is a great lever and really smooth and has the hinge clamp which is a must. Overall just buy each part of the brake separately as each thing Brake/Cable/Lever is about $10-15 each. Buy the kit if you need pads or some parts for your brakes.

Ce kit n'est pas l'Evo 2 de chez Odyssey mais bel et bien l'ancien model Springfield beaucoup moins efficace et nettement moins cher. Le prix d'achat sur amazon pour ce modèle est proche du double en réalité. Nous sommes vraiment deçu et nous retournons le colis a l'envoyeur.
