Manrose Shower Fan Kit VSF100T - 4 inch/100 mm

Seems good. Much quieter than the old one I had. One problem though, the delay timer does not work as discribed. It says it operates between 1-20 mins so I set it about half way to achieve approximately 10 mins run-on time but it stays on for well over 45mins. Haven't got round to adjusting it down to see if I can get it closer to the time I want. Forgot to say that I returned the first one I ordered as the timer didn't stop even after two hours. Good for the price and might get another for main bathroom.

Fitting was easy, quality was good, our bathroom is quite small but this extractor struggles to keep the steam at bay.The reduction of steam is probably 30-40% better, the fan is noisy in use, still better than nothing.

the fan I received was not Manrose, I use them all the time, but very similar and seemed to work ok , a litte noisier than I would expect.

I bought this back in June in readiness to install it in our new home. We have finally moved in and I have completed the installation today. The kit was comprehensive with all the basic requirements except a half decent fan! The box proudly announces that it will shift a large amount of cubic something or others well; no it doesn't! I held a candle close to the ceiling extract grill and extinguished it....the smoke just hung around and was totally unmoved by the fans efforts. I then dismantled, what has proved to be a long and difficult installation, to check that nothing was amiss, it wasn't! A hair held immediately in-line with the exposed fan was hardly moved although the fan was clearly rotating. It has cost me a great deal of money to fit this load of rubbish (the cost of fitting is due to the awkwardness of location, not the fan, I hasten to add), so I was hoping that it would at least work! The total length of the duct run is less than 4feet so it can not be that! I am writing this after having a shower, with the fan running, and have to report that the shower-room, for the first time, was running with condensation (previously it had been fine with just the window open - now there was a cheap option!). Off to try and find a proper fan now........

Arrived very fast and cheaper that local DIY store. My husband fitted it up himself without any problem then got electrician to connect it. It works well and not too noisy. Can be ajusted to time you want to have it run.

Excellent fan kit and a great price, unfortunately I made a mistake ordering this in-line fan kit instead of a wall fan kit. Seller Palmer Riley were great, straightforward return, no problems, and card credited within 2 days of returning, brilliant.

I bought two of these for our bathrooms. At first I was impressed and both rooms would clear of steam after about 20 to 30 minutes. Great. We've been having damp problems in our bedroom recently and have traced this back to the extractor which has now failed. We checked the other one which has so little suction it wont hold a piece of A4 paper against the ceiling. On removing the fan ducting it still pushes air but at a much reduced rate.We've now got the expense of replacing both and wont be going for a Manrose fan again. Very disappointing.
