Rocketfish Component Cable for Nintendo Wii

on Par with the official Nintendo Wii component cable. Built like a tank, organized layout of cables and labeled for ease of installation.

It works well. The cable has a wire mesh wrapping it which makes the cord firmer than a strictly rubber cod. It makes it a bit heavier and harder to wrap as well as giving it unnecessary bulk. Alternatively, it makes it a bit more durable. If you're ok with this, you'll be fine.

Quickly, some pros/cons:Pros:-WAY cheaper than Nintendo's brand, yet seemingly equal picture quality-Cable feels/looks high quality (gold-tipped heads, pretty thick wires with mesh, firm connections...)-Seems durable, lasting months and countingCons:-Eh, 6 feet is a little short(long cables could present problems though)And there you have it. I'm impressed how thick the cable remains when it splits off into 5 parts.It worked with many Gamecube and Wii games at 480i, 480p, and widescreen--looking pretty nice the whole time.I tested this on a Sony Trinitron CRT from about 1998, I think, and a Samsung HDTV LCD, with Sonic Colours, Skyward Sword, Super Mario Sunshine, Splinter Cell (GC), and more.

Alright, makes the Wii look somewhat better, but not as stunning as full HD.

This is the only way to get the WII to show colors on some of the new TV's that do not have a yellow,red,white connection. The new TV"s come with Blue for video. so without this cable you will only see black and white."Note" This comes with 5 wires. Look that two are audio, three are video because they have 2 red wires. If you hook up the wrong red to the video and audio you will only see green and purple on the screen. Just change the two red wires and this will work properly.

Colors are slightly off and textures just aren't rendered as well as with the Official Wii Component Cable. If you're really concerned with getting the highest quality graphics, colors and textures from your Wii go with OEM. Although I will say that it still beats the standard A/V cables.

This cord works great even on the Wii U i bought this cord for 3 bucks and when i hook this cord up my Wii U to my 37" Vizo LCD TV it looks Great the colors is all there crisp clear picture in 480i,480p,720p and 1080i and the crystal clear sound sounds wounderful Rich crystal clear highs and this cord is right on with component cables by monster and for 3 bucks what a great deal because Best Buy sale this cord for 30 bucks.

I was pretty worried I was going to end up with a piece of junk or not the right cable. Lucky me! Very happy at this point. Cable hooked up and working fine. Especially happy best buy didn't a penny from me ;) Thank you seller!
