I slapped a rattle snake paraprepper knot on it, not because the paracord has anything special in it, but because thats the attitude of this little D2 bugger! Ball bearings and a hefty thuddy flipping feeling engage it's fang with a lightning quick strike. It comes caged in a nice presentation box to prevent it from escaping out of it's bubble wrap prison. It's a good thing because it comes with a shaving sharp edge, ready to do quick work of it's own wrapping material if it were sentient. It's small and puny and you'd think bleeeh what can It do? Put it to work and you might just eat those words..Some places like here in the west, the general rule is below 3 inches, although with this knife it'll be more than enough to please the ladies because this can be truly EDC'ed unlike it's older braza brother which would spook all your office friends straight out of the covfefe room. It can be clipped on a wallet or attached to your keys with the included key rings. (The clip is removable) I recommend a lanyard to fill the empty space when you hold it if you have medium to large size hands. The reverse tanto, curvature and two tone finish give the blade a good sleek look and allow for rocking if you're ever chopping something small. The scales are also steel for increased durability, and the lock engages at about 50% into the thickness of the blade... Baton anyone?!! Hmmmphhh chop twigs I must!Over all it's a great miniature knife, highly recommend if you don't wish to spook your coworkers with a biggo knife but still want a small functional folder.

Beautiful little knife and very sharp out of the box. My problem is that's it's very hard to open. After experimenting opening and closing, the problem is with the beginning of the opening action. It's sticking at the start and makes a little 'clicking' noise once you overcome whatever is holding it. After that, it opens smoothly. I've examined it closely and can't see what is causing the sticking issue. Lol, you definitely don't have to worry about it accidentally opening in your pocket.Update for those who have rough opening knives:After further inspection I noticed a small hole on the blade near the pivot joint and also noticed a protrusion on the lock lever that fits into that hole to secure the blade when it's closed. The problem is that the edge of the hole needs a bit of rounding to let the protrusion smoothly slide out when opening the blade. So I took a diamond rasp file and gently smoothed the edge of the hole that the lever protrusion rides against. After a few seconds or so of smoothing, then checking the action, followed by a bit more smoothing the opening of the knife is much nicer. I was careful to not overdue it since I didn't want the blade to randomly flop open in my pocket.I'm increasing the rating since the knife is perfect now but I'm not giving it 5 stars since I had to screw around with it.

Love the flipper thing at the end for rapid deployment, though, if in the office, I HIGHLY recommend you pull the blade out so you don't freak anybody out. Excellently made, high quality knife. I ordered two others in this class and they didn't have the quality this one does. This replaces a Cold Steel Mini - that they no longer make (boo!!!) - that was confiscated at some airport years ago - I hadn't been able to find a mini knife to take its place for years. This knife is even better!!!! Highly recommended and would buy again.PS. I am so impressed with this knife I have ordered it's big brother (buy directly from Bastion for a discount) and will buy two more as backups (from Amazon - best price) - at this price why not?

Nice little knife. Key word being little. I carry this in slacks or similar smooth pocketed attire for nicer events and such. Too small for real work use outside of the office but great for instances when you don't want to carry a full size knife. It's sleek appearance blends in everywhere and it's quality construction makes it easy to use. It does include a couple of keyrings so it can easily be added to a key ring, lanyard, bag pull etc. The liner lock is effective and relatively easy to release. It's a little heavy to open especially for a small knife but nothing that's an inconvenience. The pocket clip is nice, it flexes enough to use in the coin pocket of a pair of jeans and small enough it will hold onto a pair of slacks.Pretty nice little knife for the price.

Though it took a few minor adjustments and lubing to get the deployment action up to my requirements (smooth and dependable)...and of course ditching the all but useless pocket clip..this very tiny flipper with an amazingly sharp D2 blade running on ball bearings has proved to be really quite useful in my mundane world of Amazon box opening, plastic packaging slashing and twine severance. Pleasantly surprised by it’s non threatening, pocket disappearing attributes and particularly it’s utility given it’s Lilliputian size. Seen here atop an I-Phone 8 Plus for size comparison.

If I was right handed I'd probably be giving this 5 stars. For the money it is a tiny, sharp, and nifty little tool that smacks of quality. However I'm a south paw (left handed) so although I can flip it open really easily disengaging the lock is just not easy without two hands or risking slicing my thumb. Not a lot you can do about that without having two versions.I would say I was surprised how tiny this is, it's quite stealth. I can literally put it in my wallet! I kind of wish there was an intermediate blade length of between 2.5" to 3" - my State has a 3" maximum for legal concealed carry so the larger version is no good for putting in a bag even.
