Very good for the price
I’m just a tinkerer but like being prepared, this seals nicely when heated and is easy to tie. Great investment

Pretty happy with this....
I am fairly pleased with this para cord. Unlike some of the other reviews I received a continuous strand almost 100 feet. Looks like it’s going to be give or take 10 feet for a lot of people and I don’t understand the reason for that but I don’t have precise links that I require. One thing I like about this cord is that it’s lighter and smoother and than some of the other more expensive versions. Not every application needs the heaviest duty product and some of the uses I have a require a slightly smaller diameter. So this works well for that. For applications like bracelets and wearables this is much more flexible than a stiffer cord, and so it’s more comfortable and easier to use. It’s a little more challenging to melt and seal the ends of the paracord that have a fire starting to read in the middle because that one wants to comebust while you’re melting the other threads. This is the same for all of the survivor chords not this particular brand so just making you aware that when you’re ready to seal off in the end, you might want to clip the waxed tinder a little closer so it doesn’t burn. The Kevlar thread or whatever the yellow thing is is very strong. It Alone was able to hold over 300 pounds up without breaking and that was pretty impressive for something that thin. You could use it for snares, fishing line or to wrap and arrowhead onto the shaft. Even though it also contains a cotton thread I would probably use the Kevlar one to sew because of its strength. The only thing I can think of using the cotton thread off the top of my head is for his emergency sutures. But I’m sure the uses are limited only by one’s imagination. The waxed thread will burn but it’s not quite as combustible as some of the higher end ones I’ve used. Honestly I would probably use it for a improvise candlewick as I think it would just be easier to start a fire with wood shavings then to bother with this wax thread. But don’t underestimate the usefulness of candles in the outdoors. This makes a fine little wick if you drop it in a small cup or a depression filled with alcohol.I believe this para cord is rated for 330 but it seems pretty sturdy, and I guess the outside is polyester rather than nylon which makes it actually smoother and have a better feel for wearables. The biggest thing I like about this is that I use it. I have several bundles of the very expensive survivor cord and I’m hesitant to use it because it cost so much and it ends up just sitting in my pack for emergencies. The stuff is much less expensive and so I end up using it a lot more often rather than saving it for that one big emergency. And so for that I really appreciate a relatively inexpensive and versatile cord.I’ve made several bracelets and lanyards, I have premade roof lines and hitches for quick deployment of tarps and shelters. And I have several little extra bits left over that I used to practice knots. I’ve always believed that lanyards are incredibly useful and so this cord has allowed me to tie a lanyard to pretty much everything I own that goes into the bush. It’s also handy to wrap around your sheaths and other tools, so you have lengths of cord handy and ready to use and also protect your equipment. Are use regular para cord around the house but for anything that’s going to go in the woods with me I always use the survivor cord for extra utility. I may never end up using the interior threads but it’s nice to know that they are there. It’s really handy to have a lot of the stuff laying around. You never know when you’re going to need to tie something up or tie it down. And I’m just not likely to do that with the $40 bundle of high-end survivor cord.

Very good cord
I appreciate the reasonable price, and wish I bought more. The fire tender strand very effective, makes melting ends tricky.

Adventure starts here
After repelling down a frozen waterfall. I climbed on top of the downed helicopter. Once there I started a fire to keep the Nuns warm.Sewing their wounds shut was a breeze. And all with this product. Not really, I made some boots laces.

Odd cord
This cord has an odd odor along with an odd looking inner cord. When I light it up to melt the end, the odd cord, (dark red in color} it smells like incense and keeps burning like incense so I have to be careful when I put it away. Could you please explain what that odd inner cord is?,

What a deal!
You can't beat this stuff! This is great rope. I cut off about a foot and took it apart. You've seen the pictures. It has 7 twisted polyester cords, made up of three threads. I couldn't break the cord without it cutting into my hands. I took apart the cord and couldn't break the poly thread. It has a white sewing thread and I couldn't break that without cutting my hand either. There is a fishing line and I'm no wimp but, you guessed it, couldn't break it either. There is a waxed fire starter. I was feeling kinda bad by now so I didn't even try to break it but, I did try to light it. It ignited instantly and it's waxed so it's waterproof. When I was all done testing the guts of the rope, I realized I still had the exterior of the rope left. You guessed it, it wouldn't break either. I don't know about you but, that's a neck of a lot more than I have ever asked from a rope before. Yea, I like it.

STOKED cordage
It's great cordage that doesn't lose it's pliability with use. I use it for shelters and other misc projects. The fire tinder works well. Stay STOKED.

Happy camper.
Ok it’s not copper stranded easily fixed at the local hardware, the good news is it’s equivalants are often twice as expensive..
