These are really unique. At first when I received them, I was a bit skeptical. They smelled like walking into a thrift store, which I'm not sure if it's the jute and just a coincidence, or that they are actually made from thrift store jeans. Either way, I sprayed them until damp with white vinegar and let them air dry in the sun. They have a durable feel and are tightly weaved, but I don't think I would put them through a regular wash cycle. Handwash or delicate cycle with low/no spin and hang dry in order to maintain their form and not tatter the jeans to where they no longer hold together as mats. I learned my lesson with my previous jute placemats on this. I like the various shades of blue this adds to our granite table. I would definitely purchase again and may even have to get the rugs they offer as well.

These are a heavy, durable placemat. I purchased these about 4 months ago & I’m very happy with how they’re holding up to daily use. Small spills are easy to clean with a wet rag and they’re stain resistant. They look as pictured & I have 0 complaints.

These placemats are so pretty. They're much prettier than the pictures and definitely a good value for the price. They are thick, good quality mats. However, they were really dirty on the bottom, as if someone set them down on a dirty ground before they packaged them. It's a shame because the instructions say to hand wipe only or take to a professional cleaner. I'm not sure if they're all going to be like that or if I just got a bad package. They were so affordable, so instead of sending them back, I'm going to try to clean them by hand and hope for the best. Other than the that, they are very nice and much better quality than I expected.

Love the color and all about the placemats!On one of the pillow covers the zipper broke before I even zipped it up. And as I was sewing it together I could see where the zipper edge that was sewn into the pillow was ripping.I do like the colors in the pillows and they go great on my couch. I like the fact that the pillows and placematea are made of sustainable material!

These placemats are perfect!

I love the large size as I was wanting to cover the scratches on my dining room table. They had the smell everyone previously spoke of but I tossed them in the dryer with a few dryer sheets and the smell was gone. I love these placemats and they were exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful, high quality placemats

Received these today. The jute makes them spot clean only and they are quite "rustic ", can't think of another term. Great value considering most other woven place mats are 30$/each. The denim is funky and quite casual. I bought 2 sets for under 40$ for that is a bargain for sure.
