terrible product
As the most expensive device of its kind on amazon I really had high expectations. The features list is impressive and made all the others look like toys. Unfortunately this is not the case. The shell itself is made from cheap plastic. It feels light and brittle. Little thought seems to have gone into the Usb port cover that you practically need to tear off to get the plug into. Superficial issues aside the device was incapable of performing its primary task. It would understand the confirmation command 'no' but not 'yes' which made it impossible to use voice commands to make calls. Initiating a text message command would immediately dial some random phone number. Telling it to call someone by name failed 100% of the time. In fact the only way to make any call was to initiate android's built in voice command system which basically makes the bhf2000 an overpriced speakerphone. We upgraded the firmware from the website but the unit was still unable to understand 'yes'. Save yourself some trouble and buy one from a more reliable and well known manufacturer for less than half this price. I'm returning this product immediately.

Why the crap switch?
I have had this device now for about 8 months and i use it everyday... all the time.It interfaces very well with my iPhone and the verbal "Phone Command" works great for me with Siri. With it on my visor people on the other end of the phone hear me fine. It works well with my stereo too. The solar cell DOES keep it charged a bit more and lengthens the time between required recharges... All in all everything about is has worked well for me except for one thing that totally drives me NUTS!!!WTF is it with the freakin power switch design?!!! You people put all this effort into developing a product, make it work... then you put a switch on it that 1. can't be seen... 2. Can't be felt and then worst of all...3. can't be switched because there is nothing for your finger to grab on to. EVERYTIME I power it down I have trouble with it... this ONE thing is enough for me to NOT buy your product again! It is sooo bad that I even tried to superglue a piece of plastic on to the D*mn thing abut the idiot that designed it gave it slots so the glue can't grab it either!!!

Not Perfect......
I use the DriveNTalk BHF2000 occasionally. I am retired and don't drive everyday, nor do I make a lot of calls. The audio during calls is very clear and when I have asked, the other parties have said that they hear me OK. I have had several untriggered "Say a Command" interjections from the unit and the Low Battery level advisory is too repetitious. On a couple of occasions its "brain" seems scrambled when I enter the vehicle, it either doesn't say the phone is connected or it repeats that advisory a couple of times. For these reasons I gave it 4 Stars. The unit is paired with an Iphone 4S. I bought 3 BHF2000 units, 2 as gifts for family members. If I get adverse OR glowing reports from them, I will update this review.Feb 13, 2013: I'm a little less thrilled with this product. I get frequent uninitiated activations of the unit which then does not respond to "Cancel." It responds well to "Hello DriveNTalk" but then frequently will not respond to the follow-on commands. The range (phone to unit) is too good for me, I have to remember to turn it off when I park my vehicle or it blocks phone reception inside my home. Calls are still clear when it does respond to my commands. A 3 star rating is generous......
