J-B Weld 8277 WaterWeld is a heavy-duty, hand-mixable two-part epoxy putty that cures underwater in just 1 hour. With a lap shear strength of 1300 PSI and resistance to heat up to 350°F, it reliably seals leaks and repairs plumbing, fuel tanks, pools, and potable water systems. NSF-certified and compatible with metals, plastics, and fiberglass, it’s the go-to solution for durable, professional-grade repairs.

## Description

WaterWeld™ will plug or seal leaks and patch holes and cracks in almost anything. Ideal for repairing plumbing, fuel tanks, tub and shower, drains, pool and spa, boats and potable water tanks; setup occurs even under water. After curing, it can be drilled, tapped, filed, sanded and painted. WaterWeld™ has a set time of 15-25 minutes and sets hard in one hour. WaterWeld™ cures to an off-white color, is rated at a strength of 4370 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 250ºF.

**Q: Can it hold on to a crack in the side of a frp vessel which is used to contain pressurized water of 30-40 psi?**
A: WaterWeld will plug or seal leaks and patvh holes and cracks in almost anything. It's strength is 900 PSI. So you can easily fill crack in the side of a frp vessel.
