I have been using these brushes a year and a half ago as a starter set for watercolor painting. Even though I have since purchased expensive sable and synthetic “professional” brushes, including several Kosinsky sable brushes, these remain in use as my “go to” for detail and broad work. They are excellent, don’t shed or come apart. I am somewhat astonished they are so good.

I'm using this product for pastel application in coloring book backgrounds. They are so beautiful and well-made, they are sitting on my desk for the joy of looking at them! So many products are poorly made these days, but this one is a winner.

Two handles came disconnected from the tips, but I used rubber cement and I think that will do the trick. It is connecting the metal to wood.They were compression fitted and I don’t the factory squeezed it hard enough. They are nice tools otherwise and I would still buy them again. They are as thick as an index finger.

Works great with chalk oastel

I used them for pastel blenders, i use xlarge because my hands not perform anymore the same as I used to. So it's easy to hold without any pain

I saw tools like these being used by an artist and decided to try them out while using pastels. They are great! So many different textures can be created. Love them.

Not for pastels! I was hoping to use for blending but this is simply not durable enough to hold and blend. That said, this is good for other craft purposes. Bigger than expected as well.

I purchased this set for painting with resin, since resin doesn't stick to silicon. I knew enough to get two, because my husband decided they were perfect for blending pencil and charcoal drawings. They are working great and I can see other applications for tools like these. A similar food safe set for cake painting would be awesome!
