KNIPEX0202225 9-Inch High Leverage Combination Pliers - Comfort Grip

I use these plyers to cut wire for hanging canvases and it cuts like knife through butter.

Very well made and the grips are very comfortable to hold. Not your typical rubber dipped coating, but rather harder material.The tool is also well balanced and fair in weight. The serrated part of the jaws grips really well but, only time will tell how long before they’ll get dull.

This is one of the tools people will laugh at you for having until they try it. The head is not as wide as the 9.5" and you can tell at a glance they are NOT full sized Kliens. But damn to the grip, cut, take beat-on damage and get into smaller places just as good if not better than the more expensive 9.5" version. They contour to smaller hands better, and they have a good weight. It is worth giving them a try.

This is a nice set of pliers, but regarding this particular configuration (9-inch as well as comfort grips), I ended up returning it. While I like comfort grips for what they are, they just seemed massive on this tool. It all resulted in an overly bulky set of pliers. Also, for some reason these were the only Knipex pliers that I have purchased, that weren't nearly buttery smooth out of the box. If you need a big set of heavy duty pliers, these are great but they just didn't work for me.

Compare to crescent, klein tool and knipex. I will choose knipex from here on

You definitely get what you pay for with Knipex. If you like your hands give this brand a try. I got these because i needed a pair of pliers to help finish tying when the "automatic" bail maker decides not to twist both ends. These pliers are big enough to finish the job. I have also made about 300+ cuts into the 3/16" steel bailing wire and the cutter still cuts, mates perfectly with the opposite side and has no rounding over.

I use them everyday! No complaints! I would buy over and over!
