We’re Korean, so we cook rice very often. The white color blends beautifully with my white kitchen, and it doesn’t look cheap at all. Most importantly, it cooks rice very well. Rice cookers can be surprisingly expensive, and if you’re like me and wonder why you should spend so much just to cook rice, this is a great option. I previously tried another Cuckoo model with a different design, but the lid could not fully open under my countertop cabinet, which was very inconvenient, so I had to return it. Even though this model has a similar capacity, the lid opens and closes fully on my countertop. From what I found, this seems to be one of the few affordable options that works well in a limited space. One important caution: I used to keep it next to my gas stove, but I noticed that the exterior plastic had started to melt from the heat. Thankfully, I caught it before it became a bigger problem and moved it to another location. I was surprised by this, so I would recommend keeping it away from the stove or any heat source.

This CUCKOO CR-0632F rice cooker consistently delivers excellent rice quality with a noticeably refined texture. Each batch comes out fluffy, slightly chewy, and evenly cooked, with grains that stay distinct—never mushy or dry. The result has that subtle “spring” and balance you typically expect from restaurant-quality rice. The fuzzy logic technology makes a real difference, automatically adjusting time and temperature so the rice is always cooked to perfection. It cooks a variety of rice types reliably and consistency with minimal effort. It’s also very easy to use—just set it and forget it. The keep-warm function maintains moisture well, and the non-stick pot makes cleanup simple. Bottom line: A dependable, high-quality and reasonably priced rice cooker that produces consistently great texture and finish with zero guesswork.

This is my first Cuckoo rice cooker, and I absolutely love it. It keeps my rice warm and fresh for days. I tend to drop rice pots, which usually leaves them dented and causes the rice to dry out quickly; however, the Cuckoo's thick, sturdy pot hasn't dented even after dropping it. The only downside is that it lacks a Power OFF button, which I wish it had. Aside from that, I'm very satisfied—it’s small, cute, affordable (under $100), and it's honestly the best rice cooker I've owned. Very easy to use. Just loves it!

I was impressed by the texture of the GABA setting for brown rice. The grains had burst and were cooked all the way through. The rice cooker looks to be made out of good materials. The ceramic coating is so good that the water beads up and rolls around when I washed the parts before cooking. This rice cooker is light weight but not in a way that would indicate it being cheap. The pink gives me nostalgia and the buttons keep the settings tactile and easy to use. I was able to set the clock on the rice cooker by holding the hour and minute buttons without the manual. There was no goo on the counter after making the rice like my old rice cooker started to do. I’m super pleased.

Makes rice fast and perfect. Easy to use, surprised about how well it keeps rice warm. One star reduction due to the inside bowl spins, when taking out the rice, spinning can occur and have to use a towel to hold it in place since the bowl is hot to touch directly with bare hands. Perfect for a small family, compact, material is sturdy and it is physically pleasing.

High quality rice cooker and offers excellent value for money if you’re getting it under around 80 bucks. I was thinking of getting a Zojirushi that was priced almost double for half the size but ended up buying this Cuckoo when I came to know the Zoji is priced like a Japanese made cooker and made elsewhere to profit. My sister has a Japanese Zoji that she bought from Japan. This particular model of Cuckoo that I got is made in Korea and priced well for the size and features it offers. From my short 15 days of experience with this cooker I found it to be very functional. The cooker is easy to use and the rice comes out nice every single time. Different types of rice takes different cooking times obviously and it also depends on how well you want the rice to be cooked. So far I tried white rice, and brown rice. And made porridge with brown rice. All came out well. I cooked brown rice for an additional 5 minutes to suit my needs but many people might not need it. As people from different cultures use different types of rice and their exists lots of varieties in Asian stores (I have seen rices that I have never heard of) I can’t confirm the exact cooking time. In general brown rice takes longer. I don’t like the idea of having an internal battery that is not easy to replace . Overall a great addition to my kitchen during this holiday season. I would give it a 4.5.

I’ve been using this cooker for the last few months and it works flawlessly. White rice is cooked well on both the quick cook and full cook settings. I highly recommend!

Ich bin mit dem Reiskocher von Cuckoo äußerst zufrieden. Durch die unterschiedlichen Programme lassen sich mit leichtigkeit diverse unterschiedliche Reissorten perfekt kochen. Nach dem kochen springt der Reiskocher automatisch auf Warmhalten, wenn er nicht ausgeschaltet wird. Für jede Person zu empfehlen, die sich beim Reis kochen schwer tut oder es bevorzugt den Kocher einzuschalten und dann erst noch etwas anderes zu tun.
