Great product. Well constructed. Used for developing power punches and kicks to chest and ribs. Wearer can take powerful hits without injury. Very comfortable to wear. $120 with tax. Reasonable price if it holds up a long time.

Well worth the price. I’m a personal trainer that teaches Muay Thai (Thai Kick Boxing) to clients. Clients have said it’s hard, but I didn’t think so when I kicked it. It’ll soften up with time. Provides great protection for wearer, fits comfortably. I wouldn’t spar with it, though that’s not the purpose of the body pad. You don’t lose much range of motion with it on, just lose a bit of snappiness and speed.

The price was the ultimate selling point for me but the quality shows up just as well, if not more. Great find and buy. I'll be buying another one as soon as this one is done!

Got this to start doing Glove and Mitt work after a few years off. I don't remember the brand we used at my old Boxing Gym I think it was TITLE, but I don't remember feeling it quite as much as with this Ringside. However, I'm taking full force punches from a Light Heavy Weight, and in no pain. One of the straps in the back slides, and had to be double tied/wrapped around to hold in place. Minor complaint, but still semi faulty product. Over all, I'm very happy with the product and would buy it again in the future, or recommend it to friends. For the money, you can't ask for much better quality. You can take some very hard hits, and feel very little.

Nicely adjustable and protects me from my sons brutal left hook to the body. It really allows you to work hard shots to the body and is small enough to allow it to be dynamic.

I absolutely love the comfort of this body protector. It fits snug on my body, and it offers superb protection. The bands to tighten the protector are a little long, but I used a rubber band to tie them together. It's a good price for a good product.

Works well. No pain on blows. Blunt impact felt. Had martial arts instructor kick me a few good ones too, no pain only blunt impact felt. Will be great for mitts work and sparring with boxers to get them to throw body punches without me ending up in the morgue. :)

I'm writing this review because this is the reveiw I was looking for. I'm 6'1" 44in chest, 42in waist and 250lbs and this fits perfect... My 2 preteen sons take martial arts. I don't have enough room for a punching bag so I became the punching bag. The 2 straps adjust, the top part rest at my chest (the bottom of my chin) and the bottom part right above my groin area (I need a protective cup). The sides wraps around to my hips and I have 100% mobility. The padding is very stiff so gloves may be needed.

nice and hard will last forever,highyl adjustable although u may need to tie a knot or 2 to get the straps to stay in place,a good solid body protector,so far ive only had the GF punch me with it on but it does good lol!
