Spring Window Fashions Traverse Rod Slides, 10 Slides per Pack

My drapes were starting to sag and when I took a look at them I saw that nearly all of the plastic hangers were broken. A quick search on Amazon turned these up and I ordered 3 sets (one extra--I usually buy an extra part if its inexpensive enough). While not an exact match for the originals they slid right onto the tracks and so far the drapes have held up well. I'm glad I found these on Amazon.

These sliders did not look exactly like the ones I replaced, but they fit and worked perfectly. (I have no idea who made my curtain rod.) Replacement was easy on my curtain rod, as it was a two piece rod that could be adjusted for length. I just pulled the two pieces apart, shook out the old broken sliders, and inserted the new ones. I rated the replacements a "4" on durability because they didn't look quite as substantial as the originals. I won't know for certain how durable these are until they've been in use for twenty or thirty years, like my old ones.

Good value and only place found

Grandma has heavy curtains on a JC Pennys Traverse Rod installed over 25 years ago. She had multiple broken slides so we tried these and although they wouldn’t fit, I just used a utility knife to quickly shave off one of the sides, and they snapped in. Once turned upright it locks in and worked beautifully, without having to remove the rod or curtain. Ordered the multi pack and highly suggest as a quick solution for replacing broken sliders.

What can I say? I was thrilled to discover these could be purchased on their own. They are well made and installed easily on my existing rod.

my mother has a curtain rod that is over 20 years old and the slides were starting to break off. These slides do work. They weren't real easy to install but I did read a prior review that someone stated they trimmed one side to get it in the track easier and that did work for me. Several have been installed since the beginning of October and they are still holding.

They seem to be made out of nylon the hooks they replaced were pure plastic and it ages and cracks and breaks leaving one's drapes drooping. Very happy also a good quantity of them.
