Automating Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services: From the Data Center to the Cloud with PowerShell

Money well spent!
Solid book, delivers as advertised. Very well written and edited, great "how to" reference book. It doesn't teach Powershell (nor does it claim to, for that I recommend "PowerShell in Depth" by Don Jones), it simply explains in the most clear of ways how to use PS to manage Azure VMs, Networks and Storage. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of Chapter 7: Advanced Virtual Machines. While the information contained is of the same high quality as the rest of the book, I would've liked to have seen a little bit more "advanced" feature content (DSC comes to mind).Michael Washam is a competent author with a very approachable, clean writing style.

Outdated
This book is woefully outdated. While most of the processes outlined in this book can still be performed, it certainly isn't worth the $22 when I can get the powershell commands for free in the Azure online documentation.

Obsolete - Anticuado
Microsoft cambió al modelo Azure Resource Manager (ya hace tiempo)... pero el libro usa los antiguos cmdlets de Service Manager.Algunos conceptos siguen sirviendo... pero todos los ejemplos van a la basura.
