These are easy to install and work well, but this is my second one. It seems someone took the key with the weather shield into the house when it rained and we got a good bit of water in the switch. Corrosion formed and switch was unreliable.The weather cover will stay on the new one.

The part fit perfectly and it took less than 15 minutes.

Very high quality ignition switch installed on a John Deere Gator 6x4. Perfect fit and the wiring was terminals fit the original perfectly.

Arrived on time, just put a little grease on pins. Slipped in place. Worked like a champ. Old switch had corrosion on pins.

I installed this on my 2012 JD Gator RSX 850I. I really like the umbrella key. It stays in the ignition well and protects from dust and moisture. Installation was simple. I popped out the cup holder for an easy swap out...there's plenty of room that way and I have a larger hands and forearm. Recommend this for a replacement. The extra keys are nice to have. Can't say if the keys that come with this are the same as the original JD key, because my original had broken off in my old keyswitch.

Seems to be a good starter switch. I haven't had it very long and time moght give me a different opinion.
