P-Line Adaro Junior Split Ring Plier (6.5-Inch, Blue)

Overall, these are great and I give them as gifts to fishermen regularly. They're light, strong, corrosion resistant, and the cutter works on braided lines. The only complain I have is that there isn't a spot on the jaws that's smooth. The serrations can make it tough to pinch down a barb when that's required to meet local regulations. Otherwise, great tool.

I finally transitioned to braided line so I needed a better cutter. The replaceable cutting blade does the job and I think the separation of the cutting edge and the plier functions are a good idea. I seldom use the plier functions, but I am glad to have a tool that will do quite a few things when I need it to. Having the cutter on the side takes a little getting used to. The size of the tool is good and I have yet to wish that the tool was larger. The lightness of the plier is a nice feature, especially because I attach it to myself with the included cord. All around a very good fishing tool.

At a glance I am very happy with these affordable saltwater pliers. The one major Knock I have against them is the lack of a locking mechanism. The cutters are very sharp and the pliers load/squeeze perfectly. You do have to be careful not to accidently nip yourself when handling though because the default position is spring loaded to open.

It is an ok plier for the price. I bought mostly to change split rings on my lures but it will work only for larger split rings. The tip is too large for small/medium split rings. The other thing is the economics, it is not well designed to fit on your hands.

I want to like these but the cutters are junk. And that is the most often used part. No matter how often I adjust and tighten then the separate and get a gap so that they no longer cut. I may just have a dud but my 2$ sizzors work better. I'd send them back but I'm outside the return window.

Really nice plier and really affordable. Since many people had issues with the larger one, I decided to get the smaller one. The cutters are easily replaceable when it gets dull. I use this for saltwater fishing to remove hooks and cut lines. So far, I don't have any complaint so I'll have to give it 5 stars.
