Esschert Design USA KG132 Children's Flower Press

Our granddaughter was delighted with this item as she has been using a larger one of mine for awhile now and so I thought it would be something to help her get to love nature even more than she does. The only comment that I have it that the wood is not extremely smooth but I had my husband sand down the few rough spots so it would not be a problem. We are in the midst of winter so I cannot comment on how it holds up with leaves or flowers yet as we have nothing to collect so far. but I will do an update once it is used.

It was missing all the screws but I had ones that work. As far as prices of plywood and cardboard it works.

Work great. But be prepared to glue green things. I used gorilla glue. I bought 2 and had to fix 2 on each. Not a big bother. Press comes with extra cardboard pieces.

I ordered two for gifts. The idea is good, but the condition was not good. One of them was missing a wing nut, and the other had coroded wing nuts to the point that one of them had sharp edges and wouldnt be safe for a child to turn. One also had a mark like a child swiped a green marker across it. Maybe they were used and not new? Im not sure but Im dissapointed because they are not gift giving worthy which was my plan with them this weekend. And they would have been the perfect gifts if they had been in new condition. Why are they in such poor condition?

Very nice flower press. We had so much fun with it this summer pressing flowers with the grandchildren. They thought it was great. It's very good quality.

I would not suggest buying this item. The wooden balls at the bottom came off after my first use. My husband is handy and replaced all the metal parts. That’s the only reason I didn’t return it.

This product is made of splintering plywood, flimsy cardboard and cheap quality glue. Bolt screws immediately fell apart preventing it from working. What a disappointment.

Went to screw the bolts tight enough to press the flowers I had just stacked and the green balls fall right off when there’s any resistance.

This arrived and my granddaughter and I pressed the flowers she had saved. It is fairly small but a good size for flower pressing with children. One of the green feet fell off straight away so out came the glue gun and we fixed it back on. By the next morning another 2 of the feet had come off so back out with the glue gun and I fixed the feet back on again. It is now day 3 and the other foot has not popped off yet and the 3 I glue gunned on are all still in situ. The only real issue I have had with this so far is the feet which someone has already said, are not necessary just a nut where the green feet are would be great.

One of the feet fell off so I'm going to have to replace the screw in that corner it's annoying because the feet aren't a necessary part, it could easily have been made without them but now that one has called off I can't close the press properly.

We didn't use for flowers but for clamping something to glue instead but equally effective and served it's purpose.

four wood buttons only glued on fell off.

The green bottoms of the screws fell off within minutes of opening. I managed to fix with a glue gun.
