Great value, low hassle
Works great with Lyman Tough walnut media.Little loud, fine in the shop. Cover mounted on screw rod with rubber washer, little slow to work on/off without any “wing-nut” style extrusions.

Great tumbler
My husband wore out one but it lasted five years of regular use. He seems to think this is well built.

Works well so far. Much more powerful than my frankford quick-n-ez one ever was.

Good overall. Sifter lid is a plus.
This is a nice, fairly compact tumbler, that seems to get the job done well. It is not too loud, does not “walk” at all as some other brands have been known to, and seems to handle a relatively large load of assorted pistol brass with ease in about two hours.I was a bit skeptical of the practical usefulness of the “built in sifter” lid, and was planning to purchase an additional media seporator, but after running about a dozen loads through it, I honestly don’t see the need (as long as you don’t mind holding the whole unit upside down while you shake... but it’s quite light). Thirty seconds or so of shaking over a five gallon bucket does the trick just fine. I also haven’t encoundered the issue of dust kicking up through the slots in the lid... at least with crush walnut and little NuFinish polish added (I can’t speak for corncob). The only reason I gave four stars, is because I did encounter the issue of most of the media collecting to one side, likely to an improperly balanced bowl, however, it doesn’t seem to effect the cleaning of the brass from what I can tell. It’s just tad irritating.

Dusty
The old ones had a solid lid, this is a mess. Im going to cut out a plywood lid to fix the problem. Lyman does make a solid cover you can pay extra for. WTF??? It does seem to have a more robust vibration and it also seems quieter, not much but some. yes, there is a lighted switch on the case.

You need this in your life!
I love this product. I was blown away at the results of my brass, when the price of the unit is very competitive. It took about 1.5 - 2 hours of tumbling but it was worth it. It does appear to tumble toward one side but it finally found a resting place on one of my bench's legs and hasn't moved since. It sucks that there is no on and off switch on the assembly, only a power cord. So I have to reach behind the table to pull out the cord from my mounted power strip. Almost non audible. Had it running in the garage while I was in the kitchen (one door between the two) and I could barely, barely hear. I actually had to listen for it. Left brass was fired and cleaned, middle brass was fired and not cleaned, right was a new round fesh out of a manufacturer's box! The picture doesn't lie! You need this in your life.
