This is absolutely the best PAR38 bulb that you will ever need!
Face it: Light bulbs have changed. In my lifetime they have gone from getting incandescent light bulbs exchanged free of charge by the electric company (yes, a long LONG time ago) to halogen for home use (massive energy hog and fire risk) to now energy efficient LED lighting.Quality, lighting color, light strength and cost all matter to me. There are many products that state that then will provide years of service, but in reality, rarely do.I told you all of that so I could say this:THESE outdoor bulbs are the ones you want, that look great, are made absolutely perfect, and have the best color and light over distance. I cannot praise them enough, as well as the company that makes them. OUTSTANDING!I purchased the Explux LED PAR38 1400 Lumens 40000 Hour 3000K Full Glass spotlight/Flood Light 6-pack.I live in Colorado. The temperatures here at 8000ft above sea level can swing from 100 degrees F to -25. We are often called a high alpine desert environment, but then comes monsoon season in the early fall with drenching rain. And then, of course, hail and then snow. In short, some pretty severe weather to have for a light that will be exposed 24x7x365.These bulbs really are solid glass. They are a thick glass, not only on the facing, but all the way up to the metal thread. Very thick glass that likely exceeds the quality of the incandescent flood light you will be replacing.I purchased my first 6-pack in 2017. Those bulbs are still going strong. They look as good as when I installed them 7 years ago. I've just purchased my second 6-pack, as I've added a few more outdoor lights and was glad to find that I could still buy these.Color: For those of us that grew up in an incandescent world, 3000K has that warm, slightly yellow light that we consider normal. At night it lights up the yard in a way that doesn't seem harsh (like some blue LEDs). At 1400 Lumens, it lights up the area you want lit without having a light that looks like it will land an airplane. In short: the absolute goldilocks "just right" floodlight.Yes, I know that I am carrying on likely way too much about a floodlight. But the thing is that these are a very solid, extremely well-made product that is priced SO reasonably (less than $10 / bulb) that just does EXACTLY what it should. In a competitive market where most companies focus on making cheap stuff for a throw-away world, a product like this is really rare.Good job Explus. Please keep making these. We'll keep buying them.(PS - re: the picture - there are two floodlights in the tree in the center of the picture. Way WAY up there. You can see why I would not want a cheap bulb that needs replacing.)

The Best Energy Efficient Floodlight I've Found to Date
My apartment came with 75W incandescents. It's not a great look - the bulbs are ugly. As they expired, I replaced them with 90W halogens. Much nicer bulbs. They lasted pretty good too - a couple of years of 7 hours a day. Later I found first gen 100W CFLs (23W). These are rated at 1300 lumens and give out a very good light and are a genuine PAR38. The bulbs themselves are a bit ugly - you can see the CFL inside and the base is thin rounded glass. But once they are on you can't see the bulb in any case. They take a minute or so to warm up which is a minor annoyance. Next, I found a CFL made of thick glass - like a halogen - a more attractive bulb, but with pretty much the same characteristics. When these became unavailable - at least at a decent price - I tried out LEDs.These were all plastic units. They were 3000K, which was too white for me, so I used them for my garage motion lights and returned the rest. Later, they did them in 2700K and I got some more. Supposedly 1200 lumens (15W), but more like 1000 IMO and not a true PAR38 either. Perfectly serviceable but not great. These ones are an all glass construction (like halogens) and rated at 1300 lumens (14W). I love the look of these bulbs, the light is great, the color seems right, it appears to be a true PAR38. These will be my go-to bulbs from now on...until they disappear as these things tend to.

Very bright and very well packed
Direct replacement for a 150w spotlight. Actually it is slightly brighter. Really like them.

Note diameter
Bulb is great, but This is my fault- note the diameter of the cylinder of your fixture before buying. They didn’t fit my uplighting sconce.

Very happy after 8 months
Bought these flood lights for outdoors and located on second floor eaves.Bulbs had a secure base and worked well with telescoping pole to install. The beam spread cover my outdoor area completely.I would buy again, but I expect these to last a long time since they are LED.

At last a real flood light
Perfect, better than flourescent 100W equivalant which are now unavailable. These have a glass lense &housing, the only way to make a real bulb, I consider all the plastic ones junk, even Philips. A true 5000Kdaylight bulb at a high watt equiv. which you will not find with a any plastic LED bulb.

They look and feel like a premium product.
I was going to give them a 4 star rating because of the high unit price, but I'm the one who made the choice to pay about twice the comparable product available at Walmart/can tire/home hardware. I gave them 5 stars because I cannot find a comparable product in the stores (all Glass). The five star is only good if the floodlights are true to the rated lifespan. I bought a couple of Philips Flood lights with the same power and colour rating (5000K). The Phillips are rated at half the Explux lifespan and have a plastic type front cover. But: the Philips are half the cost and have a brighter light. So I would buy the Eplux for locations that hard to replace and are more industrial/commercial. But for a homeowner I recommend the Philips Floodlights.
